So true, it was the uniqueness of the TFC game as well as the time and place at that period. We were all so new to online gaming, I mean we all started on AOL dialup then moved on to cable. To update the game we had to leave the comp on overnight. LOL. I still have my Half Life CD that gave me TFC – [wonid anyone? Ha!]. Games were so few back then. A lot of us just got on the servers nightly not just to play but to shoot the ♥♥♥♥ with other people, it was all new with a strong sense of camaraderie. A lot of us don’t think about this now but back then playing your first few match in an online game was like landing on another planet. A big deal. Everything changes eventually, just like life, but I will always look back fondly at that period and glad that I was there and part of it.

your absolutly right d1shiki, i remember those good old days better than i do the last 10 years lol.. back then there was only couple games to play. tfc or dod or cs.. now there 130498304830948020 games to play it will never be like it was. I miss those days an despite all the diff clans alot of us were real close.. to the goodl ol days!!!

Its really odd how names click and ring a bell all of a sudden. We all spent a ridculous amount of time together, if you add up all those rounds * matches * hours * years. :D Mixing in and out of clans. Specifics are vagure. I remember the "Late Night TFC" server VERY well lol. Almost like I physically went there to see people lol. Overall, when all the hazy details, are put together, they are absolutely wonderful memories.

Just got some sad news that our good friend Akbar passed away. We've known Akbar since at least 2000-2001 and he was a founding member of Mr. Our fondest memories of him on our server, late night TFC, HW + Mirvs till the end. We love you AK.

He will be missed. :(
