hi im looking for any movie keys please hmu :cacosex:
Wii 7 Sep @ 8:47am
i guess i meant keys or trade offers, im not worried about price.
D4_ 22 Aug @ 3:08am
Okay, good to know, but i would still stay far away from any keys
FunkeymonkeyTTR 21 Aug @ 11:50pm
keys exist for some video content but not much
D4_ 21 Aug @ 11:45pm
Movies only exist as gift copies from what im aware, so if anyone say they have keys, its most likely a scam. The remaining movie gift copies are also extremely rare, so be prepared to pay a lot.
Wii 21 Aug @ 10:59pm
does anyone have any movie keys they could part with? id buy some
D4_ 16 Jun @ 1:34am
haha
splahyeah 16 Jun @ 1:22am
Haha just give it some time it's a long process
D4_ 16 Jun @ 12:56am
no proof it seems
splahyeah 28 Apr @ 9:58am
Do you have any proof?
Rozzy 28 Apr @ 9:51am
Qc is his alt account
Rozzy 28 Apr @ 9:51am
Well guys TheKingRyan is a scammer. Can the owner kick him from the group ?
Tsu 6 Oct, 2023 @ 9:22am
Does anyone have a steam gift copy of La La Land?
D4_ 28 Jan, 2022 @ 2:34am
@TheKingRyan, not really, only a handful of movies still exist on Steam
TheKingRyan 15 Jan, 2022 @ 11:20pm
i'm i still able to buy movies ?
splahyeah 28 Sep, 2020 @ 10:55pm
I would really appreciate if you guys could maybe send a support ticket saying that you would like time watched to be tracked again. There are some videos that are supposed to drop cards but since time watched is not tracked anymore this feature is completely removed. Examples are Double Fine: Amnesia Fortnight, Double Fine Adventure. I mean it's fine if they want to keep videos launching in a browser just track the time I spend watching.
splahyeah 4 Sep, 2020 @ 10:19am
Right? They can't just decide to suddenly take that from us. What a betrayal. Just give us a choice for once come on!
D4_ 4 Sep, 2020 @ 10:15am
Ye me too, its fun to know how much you have watched a certain movie if its one you really like
splahyeah 4 Sep, 2020 @ 10:10am
They must be afraid to mess with serious dudes like yourself, but casuals like me get kicked in the balls like that. I know it is nothing to most people but for some reason I enjoy knowing how much time I spent watching something but I honestly can't quite put my finger on why exactly
D4_ 3 Sep, 2020 @ 11:05pm
Ill try again tonight and screenshot it if it open in the video player
D4_ 3 Sep, 2020 @ 11:04pm
what?i literally watched movies last week and it opened like it always has, in the steam video player thing, strange
splahyeah 3 Sep, 2020 @ 8:18pm
Moving video content on Steam to a web browser was an intended change that we shipped in July. The experience should be 99% the same as we just used a wrapped Chromium browser app; so same thing, just wrapped up in a Steam shell.

We made this change because it prevented the Steam player from breaking for some users - so this was a pro-active fix to make sure everyone could still continue to view this content without bugs. There isn't an option to revert to the previous method.

I'm sorry this has made the experiences worse for you, that certainly was not the intent of the change.

Thanks for your comments - we value feedback from the Steam community. I'm forwarding your comments on to the appropriate department.

Additionally, if you wish to share an opinion, suggestion, or idea with the community as well, please visit the Suggestions/Ideas section of the Steam Discussion forums.

This forum is regularly read by Valve's development team.

Oh thanks then it's FunkeymonkeyTTR fault :)
D4_ 2 Sep, 2020 @ 9:42pm
Mine works fine, i rewatched the Saw movies a few days ago and it tracked my time
splahyeah 2 Sep, 2020 @ 3:54pm
Yeah for some reason all of my videos now launch in a browser so naturally time watched is not tracked any more. Anyone has the same thing happening?
FunkeymonkeyTTR 30 Jul, 2020 @ 7:43pm
Did you guys know you can watch steam videos through a URL?

Honestly I think the next move should be on the inventory, its a mess for people with 100.000+ items
splahyeah 9 Nov, 2019 @ 9:50am
Agreed so our demands from Mr Newell are sub categories + custom arrangement of the items
FunkeymonkeyTTR 9 Nov, 2019 @ 9:21am
Yea all my series are in one, I wish you could do sub categories but its still easy enough to navigate, and as far as I can tell they are in the same order they were set before if that was wrong its always been wrong...
splahyeah 9 Nov, 2019 @ 8:38am
So I guess your series episodes are just all crammed in one single category. Don't you want a category to show you what series you have got? Also I can confirm that not all series episodes are in correct order and there doesn't seem to be an option to reorganize them. I wish this option was implemented.
FunkeymonkeyTTR 8 Nov, 2019 @ 9:09am
Pro tip: you can use the shift key + click to quickly select a ton stuff in your library to categorise much faster, this makes categorising TV shows in specific the easiest thing to deal with in your library.
FunkeymonkeyTTR 8 Nov, 2019 @ 9:06am
I mean they are still listed in the correct order so just having something like a category for ''shows'' is still perfectly easy to navigate and find what you need, for example this is how I've categorised mine https://i.imgur.com/sC1wU96.png but you could also just recreate the categories if needed, shouldn't be to much of a pain and isn't annoying the rest of us who hate forced categories.
splahyeah 8 Nov, 2019 @ 8:46am
Yeah but when you got 13 shows all in respective categories mixed with game categories it's a mess
D4_ 8 Nov, 2019 @ 2:12am
I prefer it too, I love the way they made the collection thing, so that i can organize it all in folders and only have to look at the things I actually care about: https://i.imgur.com/glAlwAO.jpg
FunkeymonkeyTTR 1 Nov, 2019 @ 2:46pm
Yep personally I prefer it, forced categories are unacceptable!
splahyeah 1 Nov, 2019 @ 11:45am
Hey guys! Since the new Library UI update does everyone has their series all lose their Category, meaning all episodes just appear in the Library's Video section?
splahyeah 27 Aug, 2019 @ 5:47am
That would be great, Galaxy 2.0 looks promising. But for now at least I abandoned all hope so I have a bit more time for real life :)
D4_ 27 Aug, 2019 @ 1:06am
But as it is now, there is no hope for movies on steam in the near future
D4_ 27 Aug, 2019 @ 1:03am
Maybe if CD Projekts new galaxy client really takes of, we will see movies there in the future. then we will once again have movies and steam games in one collection.
splahyeah 27 Aug, 2019 @ 12:31am
Oh man there is so much I do not know about this whole complicated process... I wish it were simpler. When GOG introduced DRM-free movies I was hoping I would see at least some movies there but no chance, just indie films :(
D4_ 27 Aug, 2019 @ 12:24am
ye probably, i just know that they had that contract with lionsgate and then that expired it all kinda died out
FunkeymonkeyTTR 27 Aug, 2019 @ 12:21am
they removed most movies cause they shut it down some got managed to go undetected but all that should be left is gaming, tutorial, VR related content
D4_ 27 Aug, 2019 @ 12:13am
i think that the reason some of the movies got removed was that their contract with lionsgate expired
splahyeah 26 Aug, 2019 @ 10:18am
Yeap weird decisions though :/ Also why was it so hard to just keep selling the movies they already had instead of removing some of them and only keeping others... I wish they were more open to the customers with at least some explanation
D4_ 26 Aug, 2019 @ 6:47am
ye me neither, from what i know there is no movies that are banned in denmark and all the region locked steam movies that i couldnt get on steam i can buy in the store here, so it must be a licensing issue or something, that only allow them to sell certain movies in certain regions
splahyeah 26 Aug, 2019 @ 6:00am
Yeah you're right there are better alternatives which is probably the main reason they failed here unfortunately. Also regional restrictions suck. I tried reading about them but I could not find a good reason for their existence in most countries
D4_ 26 Aug, 2019 @ 5:57am
also netflix is dirt cheap comepared to the amount of movies on it right?
D4_ 26 Aug, 2019 @ 5:56am
i mean a digital copy in my opinion should be cheaper than a physical copy and most of the movies avaliable in europe on steam was dirt cheap as physical copies in denmark, like i ended up paying 80$ for all the saw movies on steam and they cost maybe 10$ in denmark for the whole collection as a dvd
splahyeah 26 Aug, 2019 @ 5:52am
Do you have a better alternative digital store where these movies are cheaper? Because for me the regional prices were better than those on Google Play store and that is the only other option for my country :(
D4_ 26 Aug, 2019 @ 5:16am
what pissed me of the most, was that the movies was heavily overpriced, now if they had sold these movies for 5$ or less, more people might have been interested, but in europe they charged 10€ or more for movies from the 80s and not even the good once.
