Hey all!

Putting the finishing touches on server settings and mod config to kick off Pre-Season 1 this weekend!

This week I want to focus on the tribes of this server. I have posted a sticky thread on the forums that is dedicated for tribe listings.

That being said, I will be posting on several forums and sites to recruit for this server. During this time you may see a flux of people logging on.

We will be using our Server UI (F1) to brief the new players on the server. You should be ready to recruit new players to your tribe to help your cause! (if you want more in your tribe..)

Current Changes Made:

• Changed Max player back to 150 (down from 200 after latest change)
  
• Changed Max Wild Dino Spawns to 210 (down from 250 after latest change)
  
• Disabled stat modifer for Melee Damage for players
  -This is to normalize PvP/Events. Weapon upgrade and crafting bonuses will promote Blacksmithing trade profession.
  
• Enabled Baby Imprinting bonus (previously not working)
  
• Fixed some technology engrams that were still showing
  
• Enabled building near supply drops
  -Supply drops are disabled on this server, but may have been causing random patches of no build zones. This may be able to clear this issue.

After taking primitive+ off, i have been searching for mods that would replace a lot of what the primitive+ total conversion did.

With last weeks Primitive Extra's mod adding weapons, arrows and effect powders I moved toward adding more unique crafting for both utility and structures.

The following are mods that i have added and will be testing this week to make sure they work with the server.

-This mod adds 100's of new structure and decor pieces that will bring more diverse and unique structures and crafting options for both server events and players to use.

- This modd adds tons of new decor/utility items used for making ships. As well as premade ships for those who don't like building.

-This mod adds an upgraded spyglass to see more detailed info on the target, as well as the ability to open and close doors/gates from a distance.


Please leave any feedback regarding these recent mod installs. Problems or concerns with these will ultimately allow me to decide the worth and effect of these mods on the server.

The new Ark update launched today. With it, brings some good, some bad, and some inconvenient changes.

**Please be aware that during this update, all of your engrams and stat points have been reset due to the added "Crafting Skill" stat, which replaces crafting speed.**

I know it sucks to re click every engram, especially with the lag on the engrams list.
My tip: Start from the bottom and work up! The higher level engrams will have pre req engrams. A dialog box will appear when trying to learn said engram and will ask to learn all of the required engrams.. which sometime results in 100's of engram points and having to click about 20 times less.

After the removal of Primitive+ i have been looking for mods that add more weapons and utility to the game.

I've found that this mod brings several options for weapons, arrows and more.
This was the best mod that i could find to add to our overall theme. This does not replace some of the crafting things primitive+ offered, but this will at least buff our arsenal.
