Ok, so we have tried and scheduled and rescheduled and rescheduled and rescheduled. We have a final day: Saturday March 31st.

Games to play:
Sins of a Solar Empire
Cost:DRM Free, so get the disc from Aaron or install at the start of the LAN
Game: Real time strategy with pretty spaceships and an epic scale, but not overly demanding of APM. We will start with this because it could take the longest to get going.
Type: Co-op, teams, or FFA

Tribes Ascend
Cost: Free to play. Download from their website.
Game: First person shooter. Fast movements, slow bullets, lots of sliding and rocket boosters.
Type: Teams or FFA

Realm of the Mad God
Cost: Free to play. Tiny download off of Steam.
Game: RPG/Roguelike/Shoot-em-up. Retro style characters, shared XP means a train of xp goodness.
Type: Co-op

Who is up for a LAN party? Is everyone available this Saturday the 3rd?

Since most of us are on Steam with some regularity, I am hoping to make this a way of discussing LAN party ideas and times in a more centralized way. Already thinking about doing some of the following games for our next LAN party:

Sins of a Solar Empire (DRM free)
Tribes Ascend (open beta starting, F2P)
Realm of the Mad God (F2P)

I think it will be better for everyone if we just say what games a LAN will be playing in advance so that we can all download the game/s in advance and spend less time mulling about what to play.

I am also thinking that we may want to try and make a regular time, like once a month or once every other month. I know that there are some big life events happening *eyes Steve and Andy* but we can at least discuss it.
