We are Disabling Admin Accounts Until Further Notice:
Most of you already know that the update back in the first week of July (2013) really screwed things up for anyone running modded servers. We spent many hours fixing the servers, and as soon as we get things sorted L4D2/Steam goes and releases more updates — DOH!!. It seems that we fix things, they break again. It just has us going in circles sometimes.

How will we resolve this once and for all?
Unfortunately we will have to limit Admin Privileges until further notice. Let me explain–

There are two types of Admin accounts we have set up here at Kruffty’s. First we have the Main Server Admins that have both access to the Servers and the In Game Admin Panel. The other Admin Group Level is our In Game Admins where they only have access to the Admin panel while in game. It is the In Game accounts we will have to disable until further notice.

You may see Kruffty, Sherriff Huckleberry, or EvilMishMash accessing the In Game Admin — this is not favoritism so please refrain from commenting. It is easier for us to track down the cause of an error if we limit the access to the Server Admins. We hope you all understand that the only reason is due to technical issues, and not personal. We will update you all when we feel things are fixed.

Why do we feel this is best?
The main reason is that sometimes when In game Admins access the panel in game– it crashes the game. If two In Game Admins access the panel at once it may crash the server. Why does this happen– we are not sure why it happens, but we are working on it. The only way we are going to resolve this is if the “server admins” only have access to the in game Admin panel.
