Wow I haven't posted in a very long time, most of you probably don't remember me or even know me to begin with. Regardless of this, I would like to wish everyone a Merry and Blessed Christmas this year, as well as a Happy New Year!

From the Prime Minister's desk, Palace of Caserta, Duchy of Naples and Sicily, the Twenty-Fifth of July, 1950:
To the right honourable gentlemen of the Greek government,
Realizing the state of chaos that has recently installed itself in the countryside after the end of the Civil War and seeking to strengthen the Army in times of war, such as the one we currently find ourselves in, I hereby issue the Militia Decree.
Therefore, from now on, all militias created after the Minister for Public Safety's edict are under the control of the Army and will join the other militias who were already under the control of the government in the newly formed Militia Corps. This will be done since independent militias roaming the countryside pose a clear threat to peace and to the rule of the State.
Once the war has ended, these militias will return to their original states, where they will be demobilized and put under the control of their state's government, which they will serve in times of need as their state's militia. The older militias, who already existed before the Minister's for Public Safety's edict and served as irregular soldiers under the control of the Armed Forces, will continue to serve the army as part of the Militia Corps. If needed in times of war, ALL militias will serve the Army as part of the Militia Corps.
