Most of you will know that in the past weeks the servers have been almost empty all day and most of you know that 3 of our 4 servers have already shut down. This announcement is just to let you know that yes, Isolated Imperial will be sadly shutting down.

Isolated Imperial started back in January 31st, 2015. At the time of starting there were only two owners, Robin and myself, King o’ Pandas. Robin and I knew each other from Crappy Medical Menn’s (CMM’s) Jailbreak Servers for a while and on January 31st 2015, after a bit of discussion decided to make a group of our own, so we did and named it, as you all know, Isolated Imperial. Our first server was a Deathrun Server, which on launch got about 15 players and at the time I was really proud about it. After a few days of the Deathrun Server running, Robin and I saw that we needed a few admins as we could not be on the server all the time. So we decided to promote two of our good mates who we knew of Crappy Medical Menn, IHateTNT™ and B.R.J.M.T. We went through a lot of players to see if they were worthy enough for a staff position through the period of the Deathrun Server and I am sorry I cannot name you all, but you all know who you are. On the 1st of March 2015, Robin was demoted as an Owner and kicked out of the group due to a reason I would not rather go into. The 7th of March came along and I partnered up with a group called ‘Da Cool Catz’ (DCC) who at the time had a Trade Server which was relatively popular at the time. On the 13th of March, we got a Payload server which at the time I thought was a great idea but in the end wasn’t a very good idea. Around the 20th of March after a great service for II, IHateTNT™ was promoted to an Owner and at the time our Steam group had nearly 200 members. The 8th of April came and we got two new servers, Dodgeball and Trade, I believe off memory that Trade replaced Payload. Around a few days of the Trade Server being up, CynicalPillow joined the server. I was not really close with Cynical at the time and only knew him as an Admin on CMM but still promoted him to Head Admin after feeling like I already knew him for a long time and that I really trusted him. Around the same time, Riotline was promoted to Developer as he has basic skill and knowledge in SourceMod which he has now improved on in this present time. On the 26th of April a trailer of Isolated Imperial was uploaded to YouTube and currently has over 350 views. On the 27th of April our Steam group hit 300 members which made me think that maybe, just maybe, one day my group could be as big as CMM, at the time many people doubted me. The 10th of May came and a Terraria server was introduced to Isolated Imperial and seemed to get a lot of people. A lot of servers were changed and added over the period of Isolated Imperial which I will not list them all because there is so many but a GMod DarkRP server was added on the 27th of May and for the first week was full a lot of the time. Skipping to the 27th of September, Isolated Imperial got a TF2 Highlander team which had about 3 matches and lost them all. On November 15th, Isolated Imperial hit 750 members and finally I thought it was starting to become something. On the 17th of December, Isolated Imperial hit 1000 members which I felt extremely proud and decided to thank all the members with an Unusual Giveaway that Nippless Cage won in the end and a Jailbreak Server which as we know today was in some ways a huge success. From that day on, the Isolated Imperial group and servers continued to gradually constantly grow but… On the 12th of January 2016 I was informed by Astrak, the owner and founder of CMM, that he was shutting down his servers. When I heard this news I didn’t know how to react; I was in disbelief. CMM was my passion for this group and how I was introduced to Team Fortress 2 by Twinkletoes, who some of you may or may not know is my cousin. Later that day, an announcement was posted on CMM confirming that it was shutting down. After CMM’s shut down the Isolated Imperial servers grow massively and ever since then it has had it’s ups and downs for the next couple of months. But here we are today, the end of Isolated Imperial as we know it.

Isolated Imperial is shutting down because we felt like the community and servers were dying and got a bit tired of Jailbreak, but that shouldn’t be a bad thing as it brings hope for new communities and gives people a fresh new start. Seeing this group grow so much has been amazing and I can’t thank you all for the support that you guys/girls have given us!

But who knows, we may come back, anything can happen. But anyway, this has been King o’ Pandas, IHateTNT™ and CynicalPillow ♥ and the staff of Isolated Imperial signing off. See ya fellas.

The current servers are gonna be shut down soon and moved to a different IP meaning that they will be removed off of your favourites list.

How to add them back: To add the servers back to your favourites you can click one of the links at the end of this announcement or go to this page[isolated-imperial.com], click one of the servers and click the join game button, then go to your favourites list and click 'Add Current Server', you can then do this with all the other servers and they will be on your favourites list!
