It cleans out all the files that steam uses to install games. I just ran it on mine and cleared 700+MB of storage.

A: Nothing. It deletes files that steam uses when installing new games. You'll only need those files if you need to install the game again, at which point Steam will detect it doesn't have them and download them again.

Thought it might be interesting to proclaim recent purchases on occassion, since we're all linked up. It's not always an easy thing to spot.
