And as Ayase Eli said below, it's been far too long since we've gotten a new main game. The also terrible (story-wise) VII was released four and a half years ago and the announcement about a new, possibly "main" game from early last year was buried as soon as it came out, making me, now, feel as if I'm the only one who still remembers it. Instead, we got a time-travelling spinoff from 2003 that nobody seems to have wanted and next we are expecting ReReReReReBirth1. Compile Heart is losing it.

Even for a spin-off, this looks very poorly made. It was bad enough that the VN parts of CyberNep weren't animated, but this time they didn't even make good quality art for them, as had always been the case thus far, they're just using the low-quality in-game 3D models. That is quite the downgrade, especially if paired with the almost insultingly cheap-looking visuals of the menus. The game states a "minimum requirement" of an x64 processor with Windows 8, while having the appearance of a title from the early PS2 era. That's absurd.

The premise of the story also seems terrible and not interesting in the slightest, but that might just be me, being too old for this. I have no idea what "vtubers" are or what kind of modern trend (?) this game is referencing, so I'm not feeling any appeal whatsoever. Which is a shame because I loved the RB trilogy and the first couple of spinoffs back then.
