Dino D-Day clan branching out

Group/clan made primarily for the game Dino D-Day, though we may branch out later.

I learned about Dino D-Day well before the game was actually released. I thought it was a wonderful idea, and the Source technology behind the title delivered some incredibly fun and addicting gameplay as it usually does. The only problem with this game is its serious lack of players, as well as the fact that this very entertaining game isn't taken very seriously by gamers as a whole. But I see it has potential, and I want to show I care.
I have hundreds of hours of game time in Dino D-Day. I've been through the good and bad times and watched it evolve, and I look forward to any next steps that come its way.
Besides hopefully some competitive play in the clan's future, I want this to be a group for people who care about this game too and want to show their support.

This group is invite-only. We want people who play Dino D-Day fairly regularly and have proven themselves to at least be decent at it.
Those who want to join must contact me (SajinKaiE220) and arrange a tryout time. Under the right circumstances, you will be tested on different classes on BOTH teams, not just Nazis or Allies. Ideally, we'd like to setup teams where everyone has a different in-game role.
Feel free to show off an abbreviation on your username when accepted. The dutch florin "ƒ" in the name can be made by holding down the Alt key and pressing 159 (not the regular number keys above the letters, the other ones), then releasing the Alt key.

Let's show our support for Dino D-Day and hopefully give it some more attention in the gaming world!

**UPDATE, 2/26**
With its easy-to-grasp yet in-depth gameplay and ease of access, I've chosen to add the free-to-play game Loadout to the list of games this group is compatible with. It's party-friendly, and therefore easy to setup some group matches when the time comes. I encourage all group members who haven't installed this great F2P game yet to please do so.

Not sure if too many people are paying attention to this page anymore, but I still like to post Dino D-Day news as it happens to help spread the word.

Recently, a Steam user has modded Dino D-Day and created an unofficial Gun Game server! The server itself is called "[FeuerSturm.info] DDD GunGame!" and seems to always be up and playing the same modded mode, which allows you to use a range of weapons from both teams regardless of which one you're playing on. It seems to be the regular Gun Game format; get kills to get new weapons, the last weapon level being melee, but get melee killed and lose a weapon level. While the server seems fairly devoid of actual players, it always has bots set up, so you can always jump in and play!

The user who made this server also made a post to the Dino D-Day community hub asking for feedback on how to improve the mode/server:

Also, on an unrelated note, I recently picked up the game DEPTH through the free weekend sale that just recently ended. If you haven't tried it already, I highly recommend it. It's a very similar dynamic to Dino D-Day, only it's humans vs. sharks instead. The game's pretty graphically demanding, but it's very fun and easy to jump into! I just thought I'd let everyone know.

I'm not sure who's still paying attention to this page if anyone, but still I thought I would post the news regarding the new Dino D-Day update. I'm a little late with this, but I had been away from Steam about a month.

Anyway, along with some bug and balancing fixes (Hardgrave's primaries nerfed), there are now 2 new maps that can be played in the majority of the game modes!
The first is called Airstrip, and it's described as taking place at the loading docks of a German zeppelin. Apparently the Nazis were trying to airlift T-Rexes across the globe. I'm sure that would've gone well. XD
Second is a map called Ziegenfarm, which is apparently the Nazi goat farm where they breed a surplus of the animal for food and weaponry. We'll FINALLY discover where they all come from!

There is also supposedly a THIRD map on the way called Resistance! It's described as having two distinct areas of play: streets and sewers. It's apparently pretty big too, practically two maps in one!

I'm so glad this game is still getting so much attention from its developers after being out for FIVE YEARS! Thanks, devs!
