Half Life 2 Death Match Gameplay As Before The Controversial Update Of 2010 But Its Better Than Ever With Orange Box Engine.

This is Regular Half-Life 2 Deathmatch ported over to the Orangebox Engine,It also comes with some bug fixes.

Half-Life 2 Deathmatch: Orange Box Beta 4

Changes/Fixes

Fixed Player animation issues

Fixed Physics objects rotating automatically when dropping them with the Physcannon

Fixed Stunstick spark issues

Fixed Shotgun reload issue

Fixed Shotgun fast weapon switch bug where it would get stuck on the reload animation

Added ChatBubble

Fixed Combine movement sounds (Updated)

Added Alyx and Barney player models ( * WOHOO ALYX PLAYABLE <3 )

Added the option to use First Person Ragdolls to Advanced Multiplayer Options

Added Report Bug to the Game Menu (Reported Bugs will go to valve)

Changed the scoreboard back to normal HL2DM Style

Fixed physics objects in dm_lockdown being invisible

HOW TO INSTALL

1) Download any of zip or rar file from link given below.

2)Extract hl2mpob.zip or hl2mpob.rar to your SourceMods folder, Example C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods

3) Restart Steam.

* NOTE : You also need SOURCE SDK BASE 2007 installed located in Library < Tools section.

Hi guys ,

Played OrangeBox mod yet? I can tell you its really awesome & It would be a great help if you spread the words & INVITE all the people in your friends list , just see above @ friends tab & tick all your mates & invite for the good old times sake in dm we had together cause not only you helping this mod to spread but also yourself with more people playing it.

Well friends , i was playing a bit today & saw 3-4 servers already running but not sure if they are permanent servers or not as it was lil(not much) laggy for me.Hope it wont lagg for you.


Few people are already intrested in server talk about this but still dunno where to get server files & stuff.Well as i have nil knowledge about server setup & stuff so you may can ask SUB-ZERO himself here :

SubZero: Wow Valve's Half-Life 2 Deathmatch update has more bugs than the old engine, I'm sorry to inform you all that I will not be releasing my version tomorrow as planned due to Linux support issues but not to worry I will have it all fixed soon and will be releasing it no later than October 10th 2010, Again sorry for the slight delay and I appreciate your support and the wait will be well worth it.

So october 10th is going to be the final version of this D:
