Nothing wrong with a proud Roman soldier displaying that pride. After all, it is soldiers like him that protect our world from the Persian, Avar, and other barbarian scum that conspire to destroy us. Also, as you as a Roman citizen should know, our Empress Theodora rules as an equal to our beloved Emperor, so your claim of a patriarchy is unfounded.
