Welcome to the Garrysmod and Western Railroad!

Garrysmod And Western is a fictional railroad created by
-GWRR- RevealerC(thapatman54).

Here at GWRR, we serve from the mountains of Botmap and Rockside Rails, to the plains of Wireconstruct and Star Pass. While our base is in Texas, we do operate in maps that would be considered rather "out of state".

We operate mostly "oddities" in the GMod railroad community which give a flavor to the common lowhood-EMD dominated world. GWRR rosters such locomotives as:

-F45s
-Highhood SD40s
-Bobber highhood B40-8s (rostered as A40-8s)
-HLS switchers (Made by the late Snolf / KeronWolf)
-U25Bs

With GWRR, we can haul almost any cargo our customers desire, but we do have some key markets we serve, specifically unit train commodities served with our fleet of specialized locomotive for your every need. Some unit trains we have are:

- Bauxite ore from the TF2 region

- Fully restored 2nd hand PFE reefers for fast delivery of fruit and perisables from the oases of the deserts of Counter Strike

- Automobiles and HL2 Jeeps (You know the type) from City 17

- Special nuclear materials trains headed to the bomb ranges at Flatgrass (ever wonder how it got so flat?)

- Hazardous chemicals to the Bouncy Ball factory

- General mixed freight trains

GWRR announces PT2 upgrade program towards their WAFX leaser fleet

Announced today, the dormant operations of Garrysmod and Western's "Western Assets Financing" locomotive lease program have been resurrected by the company to provide further power opportunities.

As part of the rebuild program, newer locomotives (Like AC4400CWs, C40-9s, SD70MACs, SD50s, and select GP units) will be enhanced with the latest Realistic Locomotive Control, Platinum 2.0 updates, receive cosmetic overhauls, and overall re-parenting.

While the timeframe for these units to be released is uncertain, WAFX/GWRR is pleased to be providing low-lag locomotive opportunities to Respected+ and up customers once again

GWRR Now Owns Passenger Car Fleet

Garrysmod and Western managed to find some streamlined passenger cars that were to be scrapped by Techrail Inc because of the lack of their Japanese heritage. GWRR was able to save said cars by persuading techmarine with a 40 car reefer train filled with sushi, Ramen noodles, cherry Koolaid, boneless KFC chicken wings, and a 250-family sized mashed potatoes hopper car.

After securing roughly about 20 cars, GWRR decided that they would follow Union Pacific's role model, and create a business/executive train, as well as offer elite luxury passenger service at a more pricier expense. All cars were refurbished with exotic wood paneling cut down from the rainforest refuges by Patman himself with his bare hands. All cars were equipped with state of the art equipment to bring them up to FRA code, and all sleeper cars were also equipped with hot water heaters for wintertime operation.

GWRR still has plans for updating other cars that were gutted by Techrail into potentially a theater car or other additional special cars, but this will be seen at a later date down the road.
