Well it's been a long time coming, but today I announce that TF2Gods is not going to be coming back online. Slimecounty may arise from wherever he has gone off to in an attempt to revive the server, but until then we'll stay down. I'd like to thank all of you whether you donated or not, for being a part of the community. The server has been around for quite a long time, many different phases have came and went, but it was fun until the end. A lot of you have considered us to be dead for quite some time now, and while I wouldn't completely disagree there was still a tiny spark of hope that we could get off the ground and get activity back to TF2Gods. Early winter it seemed that we did it, we had a full server every single day for a little over a month straight, but we weren't able to immediately fund the server for the following month and all that built up quickplay score and all the regulars that kept coming around went away and stayed away. We had a couple good days since then but other than that the server hardly sees anyone. It was a good run while it lasted, and I definitely enjoyed being both owner and member of this community. Thank you to everyone who donated to keep the server afloat for the passed while, and I hope you don't feel like your money was wasted. Thank you to all our admins as well, active or inactive. And if you're neither donator or admin and just liked playing on the server, thank you too because just being on the server is plenty enough.

So a lot of you may be wondering why the server has been offline the passed couple days, and that would be because we did not bring in enough donations to pay for another month of the server. We're doing amazing with the amount of people we had coming to the server, and we even managed to get a handful of regular players that keep coming back! Unfortunately donations are still a rare occurrence so we couldn't pay for this month. NFO, our server hosting company, keeps the server stored for up to 2 weeks before it gets dumped so we have until around the 23rd of this month to get the funds to get the server back up before everything that has been done is wiped clean. If you would like to donate then donate as you please, it's greatly appreciated but if not, that is still completely fine. Playing with us on The Gods Who Eat Mountains server is equally as appreciated!

In other news, I have integrated the server with Valve's new web API service that will make things easier for us in the future if we ever need to change IPs. What it does is register the server under an account connected to steam and stores the server information under and account key, which means as long as a server's config is using that unique account key, the information will be updated on your server lists without you having to manually change the IP.

Hope you're all having fun on the new server and it would be great to see it back up and online again!

Don't forget this new server has a new IP! The IP is 74.91.119.153:27015, so add that to your favorites instead of the old TF2Gods server.

Happy News Years everyone! Its the 13th but still, never too late right? I just wanted to thank you all for sticking with us through this reboot with 24/7 2fort. I know some of you don't care for that much 2fort but in due time we can get a rotation back on the server, but thank you for sticking it out and staying with us through this time. We've been doing great as far as server activity goes and we're starting to retain some regulars on the server. Quickplay has been filling the server during regular playtime hours pretty well and the people coming in are pretty nice, with a couple toxic exceptions. Donations are still needed, but we have been getting enough to get by and again I thank you all for that, it really means a lot and helps tremendously.

I'm brainstorming ideas to get the forums up and running again. Been thinking about a sort of reboot so that there are no topics left and every kind of discussion is up for grabs, but it would be nice to get some feedback from you people who still lurk around.

Thank you all and keep on killing each other on the server! We're really making wonderful progress!

Hey guys, so if you have been with us for a LONG time, you will remember that back when we first started out, we were a 24/7 2Fort server. That is how we grew our community and how we grew as a server. There is a group of us that wants the server to go back to that to regrow the community and I have setup the server to exactly that. How long will this last? As long as it takes. If you are one of the people that hates 2fort, I apologize but maybe 24/7 2Fort with the Gods will give you a new found love of the map?
