DESPRE TF2 Legitimate Frying Pan Owners

for those who were lucky enough to find one

Hi, my name is ZkORPiON, and on Friday Oct 1st, I crafted a Frying Pan. I really wanted one and got it straight away. I researched and found that not many other had one that was legit. So i created the group to find those who managed to craft or get one in a crate.

Stainless Pot + Frying Pan = lolololol. But now it's common and noone can see my Second Pan...

I thought the frying pan (as well as Ellis' hat) are supposed to have a tie-in with the upcoming L4D2 content coming soon though. This wouldn't make any sense to have the frying pan come from the crate, if so. Also, the official TF2 wiki makes no mention of the crate as a possible place to acquire the frying pan. At any rate, it doesn't matter if they're in the crate or not since we already have them.
