New channel: Pakusukuli

Happy April Fools' day! I feel that this day is not only for celebration of pranks and lies, but also for breaking out of character and experiments. Here's an MMD (MikuMikuDance) video I made in Blender on my new channel (I hope you're not allergic to anime):

When I made my last two videos, I found it really difficult to animate characters, and that's why I used mostly stock animations. I was more interested in perfecting the lighting and camera movements. I also feel that basing the video on a music track helps with pacing.

As it turns out, MMD has a whole community of artists who want to share their songs and animations. I've also been interested in doing videos with Blender, and the latest updates have improved the rendering of animations considerably. I've also found out about the SheepIt! renderfarm, which makes 4K 60fps videos practical in Blender.

All these things combined makes it possible for me to actually finish and publish videos, unlike my 13 unfinished SFM projects. Me and SFM are still friends, though, I promise.
