Entropic Gaming

History

Founded in 2016, Entropic Gaming is a competitive Counter Strike community based out of Canada and the Eastern United States. The core of the organization has been competing together since Counter Strike 1.6, under the name Evolution Gaming.

In Spring 2017 the roster merged with Overclock3d to compete in the WorldGaming CS:GO Canadian Championships and finished 4th place.

In November of 2017, the organization then attended the ExtraLife LAN Sponsored by Northern Commerce, under Entropic Gaming, and finished 1st.

The organization has competed in four seasons in the ESEA Open league, Season 26 under the name Who's AUG is This (8-8), Season 27 as Entropic Gaming (5-11) and again in Season 31 (9-7 + 0-1 in playoffs) and S44 (2-10)

Entropic Gaming returns to League play once again with the release of CS2

Season 31 Week 2 Recap

The team was back on overpass for the start of week two vs team 'Touchin ma spaghet'. Entropic Gaming was able to claim both pistol rounds this game but was not able to hold off the pressure from the heavy shooters on TmS. EG went down early, losing the first half 10-5 and even with winning the second pistol round. EG was not able to carry the momentum over after that pistol win and TmS was able to capitalize on some rounds that were very close.

The team then had it's third game on de_dust2. This game we wanted to get some new players a chance to get a feel for competitive league play. Our coach / in game leader, Von, played his first league game vs the first place team in Open "NaGP".

EG lost a close pistol round that featured lots of quick frags and finished in a 1v1 duel which ultimately led to NaGP securing the initial advantage. NaGP went up 5 rounds, then on a hasty decision by beastsauce to stack and catch the Terrorists off guard, EG was able to steal a cheeky round from their opponents.

The team's next two games are both scheduled for this Sunday night May 12th, stay tuned for more updates!
