Hello all. It's been a decade since this Minecraft group was together.

In the time, I have put up a couple smaller servers for friends and played here and there, but never on the same scale as Elossia once was. Here recently, I have been itching to try an idea.

To put up a "History of Minecraft" server. The premise, to start in the earliest version of Minecraft multiplayer, and on a schedule, update the server to the next version. There would be one continuous world, which would never be reset.

This would, of course, cause problems. The world generation changed many times in Minecraft's history. New chunks would need to be generated to see some updated features. But these weird changes over time are the entire idea, and the borders between version can be wild.
