All Portal 2 owners just recieved a coupon for 75% off a second copy of Portal 2 (to celebrate co-op player levels). They last 'till the end of the month. Everyone I know already owns it, so I'm giving my coupon away. Gimmie a holler if you want Portal 2 for cheap.

The issue with those ones is that not everyone plays them, and they do tend to be more limited to the number of people who can play them.

More so L4D/2, Borderlands and Killing Floor since they are the more co-op focused.

Now that is not to say that we are against co-op games, far from it in fact. Just that at this stage we are trying to have something that is more simple and open to play with. More so since we will start with only one server to test with.

If it is a hit, and people like it then we shall try and get access to more servers and then try to manage them around the needs of the community.

TF2 is a good group game, but there are other good options as well -- Left 4 Dead (2), Counter-Strike (Source), Kiling Floor, Borderlands, etc....

Like I've said to Squato, TF2 is good for organised group play as a sort of a game night get-together and minecraft is more viable as a permanent solution since you can play alone on a minecraft server.
