today I introduce the first iteration of the 2.400 patch that will be our release version on steam to public!

Much has changed between the last update from march and I'll sum up the major changes in this post. I can't promise to cover 100% of the changes.

General:



Ostheer:

* added shared cooldown on airforce abilities
* removed support/assault pool requirements for most upgrades
*adjusted teching:

* t1 unlocks Luftwaffe HQ (200mp/20f) and Opel Blitz(200mp/35f)

*pool aura effects changed: infantry gets +15% resistance to supression and 25% capping speed (assault) or +15m sight range + 15% weapon cooldown bonuses (support). Vehicles get either smoke canisters (assault) or have a bonus for infantry fighting next to it when standing still (support)
* Vehicles with Assault pool get smoke launchers, with support pool they provide cover to nearby infantry when standing still

Weapons & Stats:
* Ostheer Army Elite now grants +25% bonus XP instead of 20%
* updated Panzer III KwK 38/39 damage and penetration tables
* fixed Incendiary Mortar Strike unlock to 2nd slot
* increased StuG III gun damage to 100 (based on 75mm KwK changes from Elite Mod)
* re-added Halftrack Flak upgrade, disabled Pak 40 upgrade,
* fixed Le IG splash damage, ~35% less
* Buffed Mg 34 lmg long range performance, tweaked burst to be more reliable
* pak 40 rate of fire 3.5-4.5s (from 4.5-5.5s), increased penetration slightly

Soviets:

* Changed starting resources to 450mp/15f (from 35f)
* Soviets tech differently now: Mustering Tent -> Armoury -> Support Barracks and/or Tank Hall
* Changed Mustering Tent layout:
- Mustering Tent unlocks
- unit roster : Command Squad, Conscripts, SG 43 team, spotter, Strelky (require Support barracks)
* Changed Support Barracks layout and requirements:
- Support Barracks unlocks Strelky
- unit roster : BM36 82mm Mortar, ZiS 3 AT gun, BA 64, T70 (requires close support teching unlock)
* Armoury automatically unlocks Molotovs
* Changed Tank Hall layout and vehicles' requirements:
- T60 already available without researching upgrades.
- SU76 requires light tankovy and replaces T70.
- SU85 and SU100 require heavy tankovy.
- T34/76 and T34/85 require either upgrade.
- IS2 still requires both upgrades.
* Men against tanks grants 2x PTRD AT rifles instead of PTRS
* Men against tanks automatically grants a 3rd PTRS weapon to Strelky with PTRD upgrade
* PTRD cant be used along DP 28 anymore
* Command Squad can declare units to become Strafnye Troops, works on Conscripts, Ingenery and Strelky. Strafnye Troops receive SVT rifles and no longer gain veterancy
* Command Squad can use "Not a step back!" ability - allows units to fight back the enemy but they cannot move while the ability is active


Doctrines:

Urban Combat:
applied reword to urban:
* LHS Forward Defense:
- 1cp improved defenses (cheaper mines, mg nests can reinforce)
- 2cp Sturmovies (350mp, 3men ppsh), construct m1939 85mm emplacements, bunkers, tanktraps, mines etc
- 2cp m1938 122mm howitzer nest, constructed by sturmovies

* RHS counterassault:
- 1cp for the motherland (slightly worse bonuses than before)
- 1cp Streetfighting
- 6cp KV 2 call in (reworked gun, deals more reliable damage to all sources now, but overall -50 damage)

Breakthrough:

RHS reworked:
- 2cp passively adds Cage Armour to SU and T34 vehicles
- 2cp Vehicle Mass Production: all Soviet vehicles are produced for a cheaper price, and faster
- 5cp ISU 152 call in

This doctrine is currently still to be considered work in progress. We'll tweak and add more stuff over time to it.

*lowered Weapon Support Center cost to 160mp/10f, lowered mg nest fuel to 10f, forward barracks counts as requirement for Quarter Master now, lowered starting res to 410mp/10f from 15f
* Rangers veterancy requirements to 8/16/32 from 12/24/44

* removed double infantry offensive vet bonuses

Logistik Kompanie (160mp/20f):

* Sdkfz 221 190mp/15f (can upgrade 2cm KwK),
* munitionskettenfahrzeug 180mp/15f (resupplies ability recharge, with defensive operations it gets a heal when standing still)
* sdkfz 223 220mp, unarmed, can secure sectors;
* upgrades: field operations, advanced repairs

Kampfgruppe Kompanie (160mp/20f):

* Aufklärer, 4men squad with cover cloak and 1x G43. Can snipe enemy units for a certain time with ability. Can equip Mg30(t) light mg
* Sdkfz 250 Infantry Halftrack (240mp/20f), slightly buffed hitpoints,
* Sdkfz 250 Mortar Halftrack (240mp/40f),
* Sdkfz 250 Pak 36 Halftrack (260mp/25f) (buffed damage, buffed HP), no treadbreaker; upgrades: Kampfgruppe training (unlocks AT HT, requirement for 222 turret).
* building the Kampfgruppe Kommand unlocks g43 upgrade

Panzerjäger Kommand (260mp/50f):
* Panzerjägers
* Schwimmwagen (has mine drop + mark target)
* Marder III or JP IV. upgrades: unlocks JP/Marder.
* building the Panzerjäger Kommand unlocks Panzerschrecks

Panzerartillerie Kommand (360mp/80f):

* Mp44 Sturmgrens,
* Sdkfz 250 Vampir (new ability/upgrade: radio equipment. Increases weapon range/barrage range for units that have the Advanced Radio Equipment upgrade by 35% [wip])

* Panzer IV (upgrades: skirts, mg gunner, 75mm Kwk40-L43),
* Hotchkiss; much lower general speed (to match real speed of 38km/h)
* upgrades: heavy equipment (unlocks Stuka rockets and pIV)
* Building the Panzerartillerie Kommand unlocks mp44 upgrade for Pgrens

Stats & weapons

* Pgren base capping speed to 1.00 (from 0.75)
* proceeding to tweak vehicle armourtypes -> stronger frontal armour but still weak in the side and rear

Panzerjäger Tactics:
* 2 new reward trees planned: tree 1 contains Nashorn call in in place of Jagdpanther, tree 2 contains Panther Battle Group with hardcap of 4 Panthers.

- tweaked sniper camouflage once more, they should cloak faster now but still be revealed when spotted by infantry
- tweaked squad behavior to make units spread less

Ostheer:

*tweaked mkb 42 burst duration and weapon cooldown, lowered long range accuracy to 0.25 (from .3)
* lowered pII cost to 300mp/40f (from 320mp/40f)
* lowered pIII cost to 340mp/60f (from 360mp/60f)
* driver vet for pIII adds speed for testing purposes
* lowered Panzerfusilier cost to 320mp (from 360)

* tweaked StuG III main cannon Area damage, larger splash (was overnerfed before)
* tweaked Marksman weapon cooldown, reduces to 0.6 on close range (from 1) - reload is then 4.8s from 8
* lowered Ostheer JU 87 strafe run plane number to 2 planes, one has single run and the other runs twice instead of 6 runs. Plane will react faster. Lowered weapon accuracy quite massively, less squad kills on retreat
* pools require fuel to switch now, but lowered pool switch time drastically
* added pool command effects for Kampfkommandant:
- offensive pool: units fight harder when loosing men (less than 5men: 0.01 hp regen, 5% acc, -10% rec supression; less than 3men: -15% cooldown, -5% rec. dmg; ) , rec. supression -10%, 33% more capping speed on all units.
- support pool: burst duration +15%, weapon supression + 15%, -5%rec dmg/acc in heavy cover, wepaon cooldown - 15%, + 0.022 hp regen)
* increased LMG 34 weapon performance slightly


Soviets:

* lowered Istrebeli Tankov cost to 240mp (from 280mp)
* increased PRTS 41 damage to 56 (from 40)
* removed ram from SU 85 / SU 100
* increased SU 100 / T34-85 upgrade fuel cost to 60f (from 30)
* increased T60 damage output against infantry slightly
* not one step back stats bonus applies to Command Squad aswell
* lowered Danko vet requirements slightly
* increased T34-76/85 reload to 6.5-7.5 (from 6-7)

Bugfixes:

* Fixed HE/AP toggle on ISU, Tiger I
* hopefully fixed Snipers not shooting emplacements anymore
* Ostheer commander Airstrike now properly unlocks with vet 2 or above
* fixed crash on startup (hopefully)


Ostheer

* added new icons for Ostheer techs
* Tweaked G41 and LMG 34. G41 reguire Infantry Modernization now
* lowered Kampfkommandant reinforce cost slightly
* re-added Kampfkommandant global pool auras. Assault pool grants additional bonuses to combat troops if loosing men, support pool increases support weapon and Sturmpio performance (will require tweaks)

Soviets

* re-added Tank Hunters (Istrebitelnis Tankov), 260mp, armed with two PRTS-41, can place TM-35 mines with men against tanks. Require either Soviet Support barracks or Tank hall
* removed TM-35 mines from Strelky
* tweaked pPSH
* reverted Spotter in t1, tweaked cover bonuses to not deal additional bonus damage to enemy units in cover. Tweaked weapon cooldown and removed PTRD rifle
* tweaked Strelky, Command Squad and Guard veterancy requirements
* lowered Command Squad reinforce cost slightly
* Command Squad can use "Not a Step Back!" now without requirements. Works for all own units in friendly territory. Cost increased to 50 ammo, recharge time 120s.
* lowered T70 penetration against StuG III/IV

USA:

* m1 Bazooka accuracy from 0.35/0.6/1 to 0.35/0.7/1

Bugfixes:

* added initial reload delay to Tiger and ISU HE Shells (they will not fire immediately anymore when the ammo type is toggled)
* disabled Mortar ability on regular halftrack

General:

*prepared "Gunner wounded" crit for weapons (lowers rate of fire, is intended to be included as yellow health crit for HE ammo type tank weapons)
*preparing to remove "destroyed main gun" from armour rear criticals to prevent vehicles to get away unharmed when intended to be destroyed
* increased Panther penetration against IS 2 and ISU 152 by 10%

Ostheer

* moved modernization techs to HQ
* added BK2H Blendkörper to Landser infantry - smokes vehicle crews. Requires Infantry modernization
* added custom lockdown for Marder II (10% rate of fire, sight range and penetration)
* lowered JU 87 airstrafe damage, lowered area of effect
* tweaked StuG III Hohlladung penetration and damage
* increased Marder II cost to 300mp/40f
* made Panther Ace one time call in
* increased Panzer III buildtime to 45s (from 35s)
* lowered Pool teching time by 60s
* added icon to Marder II lockdown
* tweaked Granatbuchse Support ability
* added infantry modernization to Ostheer HQ
* bombadiers and Mortar require Infantry Modernization
* lowered Ostheer Officer Airstrike to vet 2 from vet 3

Soviets

* replaced T70 vet 2 40% penetration bonus to a 0.85 rec. accuracy bonus
* lowered Su 76 deflection damage to 15% (from 30%)
* lowered IS 2 hitpoints to 964 (from 1064)
* lowered ISU 152 hitpoints to 864 (from 964)
* removed Infantry support gun from Soviet Propaganda
* removed 15% rec. damage modifier from Panzerschrecks to ISU and IS 2 armour
* increased ISU and IS 2 reload by 2s (13 and 11.5s)
* added weapon support barracks as requirement for Artillery Spotter. Spotter starts with PTRD
* removed armoury requirement for Naval PTRS

(updated Feb 19th)

General
* increased rec. supression of Comamnd Squad and Kampfkommandant by 50% (0.5 -> 0.75)
* fixed Ostheer sniper not being able to pick up supply drops
* fixed wrong upkeep on guards (69mp/min -> 24mp/min)

Panzer Elite:

* disabled Jagdtiger
* moved Nashorn to Tank Hunter doctrine, reward replacement for Jagdpanther, hardcap 2, 700mp
* reworked Nashorn weapon: increased health to 450 (from 400), pak43 damage 180 (from 165), reload 5.5-6.5s (from 4-4.5), range 50m, can fire without lockdown. Lockdown increases rate of fire by 10%, sight range by 15m and total range by 50m (value will be finetuned)

Soviets:

* increased SG43 weapon burst to 1.6-2s (from 1.4-1.75)
* tweaked Molotov cocktail damage over time (lowered duration of fire, tweaked damage during the fire)
* tweaked ISU 152 HE shell, lowered damage area to 8/4/1.5 (from 9/5/3), lowered damage against Stug IV slightly (1->0.9)
* tweaked Soviet Infantry Storm reinforcement cost (reduces mp reinforce cost by 10% instead of fixed value)
* lowered Red banner Strelky upgrade cost to 200mp/50f (from 200mp/60f), increased teching time from 50s to 90s
* increased conscript cost to 230mp, increased call in time to 37s (from 35s)
* increased Shock Guard cost back to 200mp/30f, increased teching time to 110s (from 40s)

USA:

* tweaked Sherman 105mm: lowered HP to sherman level (736->636), lowered acceleration and deceleration slightly. Lowered AoE Accuracy to 1/1/1 (from 1/1/1.25), lowered splash radius to 5.2 (from 5.5)
