Due to the un-ending DDoS attacks on our servers, our host is droping us. To have the proper DDoS protection would require $90 USD a month, and I can't justify spending that much money for what is a hobby.

As a result, the servers will all be shutting down on Friday and they will not be returning. So *explicitive here* has ruined the fun and the community for everyone. Most likely its a rival community, either way the result is the same.

Sorry folks, Wish we didnt have to shut down but its just going to be too costly to keep this up I will leave the group going but we wont be hosting a website, nor game servers any more.

Thanks for making the community and servers great. Ill miss working on them and playing with yall on them.

Service is restored on all servers, all traffic is being monitered and DDoD mitigation is in process. Sorry for the issues folks. Seems someone feels threatened by how popular our servers are

Seems fate wanted the servers to go down. We have enterprise level DDoS protection on our servers, however someone initiated a DDoS attack on our server.

While they were attacking, someone was attacking the physical host, I am told its an unrelated matter entierly.

So, basic jist, multiple DDoS attacks were going on at the same time and they shut down all traffic to prevent damage or loss of data to all customers on the physical host.

They have put in place more safeguards, though you cant prevent all DDoS attacks. We have as well to ensure the servers operate better.

TL:DR - We got DDoS'd as well as someoen else on our physical host. Its fixed and they have put more safeguards in place. Enjoy the servers.
