Searching this on google, it seems as though yahoo answers has targeted this game saying that is all MADE UP, BS, and only a figment in our imagination. Whether the case, I don't know what to think because I haven't even played it yet. HAHA. The Midnight Man game is just one of those urban "legend" games people usually play at sleepovers, like Bloody Mary, or The one Man Hide and Seek. It is also one of those games where you might actually conjur something Malevolent that should simply stay out of your house and in the eternal abyss; A evil entity/being that lives in true darkness. Some say it's only a figment of your imagination.

This has been said to be an old pagan ritual as punishment for breaking certain rule; a deterrent. Whatever the case may be, It is one of those things that SHOULD NEVER BE ATTEMPTED BY YOURSELF. Some people have even died after attempting it and the lucky ones have been left with their mentality scarred. While attempting the ritual, here's a little notice. There is one point in the game that if you don't follow certain rules, you will actually start to hallucinate and see and hear things that aren't really there (OR AT LEAST WE HOPE SO!) for a little more than 3 hours of living hell. The Midnight Man will also bring your greatest fears upon you at this point too.
