Welcome to the war, soldiers. Most of you are merely recruits now... but soon you will all be battle-hardened veterens - masters of stealth, close-quarters combat, long-range fire support and overwatch, and scavenging for the basic tools required to survive in this wasteland. One day we will emerge from the ashes of our once proud civilization, to begin anew... but until that day comes, we are the last hope for our homeland.

Your foes are many in the wilderness of Chernarus. As if the infected weren't bad enough... there are other survivors, if you can call them that. You may come across a few sad souls who really are just trying to survive - living on the edge, just wating to tip over into the abyss. The rest though, I hope you see before they see you. Remember, lethal force is not only authorized, but it is ADVISED. If you believe you are at all at risk, it may prove useful to fire first and ask questions later. There are survivors that have taken human life... and will continue to do so. They are your greatest threat.

In addition to the infected, the wildmen, and the ocassional shell-shocked civilian, there are the hazards of nature to deal with. Hunger, thirst, pain, broken bones, wounds, sickness. Make sure you take the time to gather any medical supplies you may need. There aren't many alive out here... and, with any luck, you will continue to be a part of the minority. Stay low, stay alert, watch each others' backs and you may just get out of this alive.
