Rusty group of players

Aye, the wipe is almost here, along with an update.

Sooo, there's eight of us. Probably smartest thing to do, when we start out, is of course gather up in one certain spot, preferably close to a flat area where we can build our main base, once the resources for it are ready.

But, starting bases. Keep them small and plentiful. Even if you cluster all the small bases together, it'll be a pain in the ass to raid 8 houses, each 2x2 in size. Imagine raiding 3x3 bases.

This way we can also keep the loot a bit separated, and especially during early game where everyone wants a weapon but can't afford one, this is your time to shine. Go farm, and you can make one for yourself, and it's all up to you, you've earned that weapon. We need huge amounts of stone before we should even think about laying foundations for the mainbase.

Mainbase will be built by me, Stiffy, since I'm the only one with the layout and can't be arsed to spread it out. Not sure if this will be "public" announcement, so I might send it in private if you ask for it.

But, resources. A rough estimate we'll need when we start out building the main base, just the bare minimum:
200,000 stone
100,000 wood
~1000 Low Grade Fuel (Or 4 Large Furnaces and 8 regular Furnaces)
8 beds
35 shelves & 70 large chests
~50ish Armored Doors (!) and Codelocks
6 Ladders
2x Repair Table and Research Table

Quite an amount of stuff, but divide it by 8 and you have the amount of resources each of us should be able to gather. 25k stone will be the hardest part for most of us, but that's less than one chest full of stone. Roughly the amount you'll get from 50 nodes, which is roughly 3-4 fresh pickaxes.

I'll be disappointed if we can't reach the mainbase building stage before the weekend ends.
