The Crystal Pillar shop takes the form of a big blue gem, and can be found at designated points within each level.

Forsaken Village: Not far from the party's starting point.

Testing Grounds: In front of the entrance to the Shrine of Mist, towards the left side.
Shrine of Mist: In the first hall.
Shrine Hall:
Shrine Courtyard: At the Courtyard proper, just outside the big doors.
Land of the Dead: To the right side of the Monument of Love, which is a graveyard in muddy ground under a tree that can be found at the center of the level.
Lake of Dreams: Not far from the start of the level; can be found immediately after crossing the first stone bridge.
Shadow Palace:
Ruins of Frost: Not far from the party's starting point.
Ruins of Fire:
Endless Waterfall:
Misty Cavern:
Forgotten Valley:
Sanctuary:
First accessible in the corridor leading up to the Light Hall.
Once all four Calming Bells are rung and the pathway to the final boss battles is opened, the Crystal Pillar will appear in the Light Hall instead.


The Crystal Pillar's design has changed significantly in comparison to the first game. In addition, there are separate shops for items, weapons, accessories, helms, armor and leggings.

It must be noted that while party members can be changed within the various levels of the game, you cannot change the party member you are controlling while you are inside the Crystal Pillar.
