I'm glad to annouce that owner of Colts United and the owner of Hades Underworld are creating a Fallout RP server on Gmod. More information will be released as time goes on but I'm excited for this new project and hope that everyone is patient with us. Hey everyone! So the heading really gives away what this announcement will be about. That’s right, a new Colts! A Colts 2.0 you could say. Over the next couple weeks we at colts will be working on making an entirely new Colts United! This update to server will introduce new custom maps from our map creator, Bloodrock, new sounds, new plug ins, and many more things. Since the update is so large we will dividing the content multiple big updates. Each including a new map. In total there will be THREE BIG UPDATES. Now with this new Colts we will be changing everything. We will be giving the server a new look, personality, theme, and name! That’s just a few of the things we will be changing. Now i know what some of you are thinking, change is never good, but trust me this is a positive thing for Colts. In it’s current state Colts is a failure of a server, but with this relaunch we will be creating an ever better than Colts. And dont worry the old server will still be there in essence.

Now time to get to real important point of this announcement, We need your help. We’re not asking for money or anything, we just want to know that all of work will be for nothing. Some of you may be wondering, how can we help? Well the answer is simple, be a part of our community. Nothing make us happier than seeing our players enjoying themselves. So all we ask is that you guys show us your support. How can you do that? Simple, just doing things like giving us feedback on the server, tell us what you want to see, report issues, and you do your part in keeping our server a fun place to play. More ways you can help us will be touch on below. Just to closing statement to this long lecture, let me just say that over the past couple months Bloodroke, and myself have learned from our mistake and hopefully we can correct them by being better admins and owners. Now time to break into specifics and answer a few things:


WHEN WILL “NEW COLTS” BE LAUNCHING?

• Hopefully some time in october. We plan on having it launch before this years Scream Fortress Event, but like all thing it may take some time to make all of our new content.

WHO IS INCHARGE OF THE SERVER?

• Due to some personal issues Murg has step down as the owner, but he will still be apart of the server. Like all of our former admins, mods, players, and founders he will still have a place in our server. Even though he is not the technical owner he should still be respected as part of our community. So to answer the question, currently both Bloodroke and Me are the owners of the server.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE THINGS WE CAN LOOK FORWARD TO?

• Imagine the new server as a blank sheet of paper and we all have pencils to draw on it. The new server will hopefully be something we can all be a part of. With it we will bring in new maps, sounds, events, and much more. One of the main things I’m looking forward to is the events. I always loved running those and with the new server I have a lot of things planned.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE WAYS WE CAN HELP THAT I DIDN’T MENTION EARLIER?

• Well you can imagine how much work goes into making this server. One of the big ways you can help is recommend things you’d like see in the new server. See a map you like, send it to us. Find a plugin that looks like it’ll be good for the server, post about it in the discussions. Now some of you may be good at other thing like art, you can help to. We’re looking for a new icon and logo, one that will hopefully embody the theme of the new server. So if you feel like making us some art contact either Me or Bloodroke. Some of you may be good at other things like models, or sounds, ect. If you’d like to help us please contact us and we’ll see what you can do. And don’t be shy, right now anything can really help.

IS THERE SOME WAR BETWEEN OUR SERVER AND HADES UNDERWORLD?

• NO! There is no conflict between our server and Wild Ones’. Anyone from Hades is welcome to our server and viceversa. So please do not start some fight like “Colts is better than Hades” or something along those lines. Hades Underworld Is a great server just like ares and I hope that our community can respect their players just like I hope their players can respect ours.

WILL THERE BE NEW RULES?

• The short answer is yes. Both Bloodroke and myself will be revising the rules and deciding whether or not they should stay or go. We might also be adding some new rules. Don’t worry, any rules changes will be addressed so everyone knows what's going on.

NEW ADMINS, MODS, AND DONORS?

• Yep, you may have noticed that our number of staff has diminished, so with the re-launch we’ll need new admins and mods. Slots are open and if you wish to be an admin or mod we will be hold some events for that. I’ll touch more on that on a later date though. Also we are adding a donor system hopefully on re-launch. So there will be donor options and donor abilities coming soon. Don’t worry we wont give the donors anything to overpowered like godmode or anything, mostly just fun things to make their experience more exciting.
