We're going yo play against the last team we scrimmed. The scrim will start around 20:00 CET, and we're scrimming two maps. They wanted to play on Process and we decided to play on Gullywash. Make sure you join mumble around 30 minutes before the scrim starts becaouse we're doing map-talks. The scrim will probably not be started before like 10-30 minutes later than normal time because of either missing players or other shit.

We're going to do a map-talk on both of the maps, so make sure you have time to that. Meet up like 30 minutes before in mumble, thanks!

I'm going to main-call as I'm medic, and I've talked to the leader and we both agreed to that :)

Although for the most part we did okay, and the scrim was very poorly orgainised (and DeathMatchy), there are still some things we need to improve on.

1. Mids: Although we can counterpush and defend effectively, we ended up losing the majority of mid fights. We need to move forward as a team instead of splitting up entirely when it comes to mids

2. Protecting the Medic: There were a few times when our medic got killed due to the opposing pick classes. To ensure this doesn't happen in an actual game, we need the pocket and demo to be in close proximity to the medic at all times.

3. Communication: If you get a pick or are killed, you need to say so in mumble. (Read Jack's announcement on communication)


Okay one way or another we're gonna sort out this roster

After the scrim a few of you wished to change your class on the roster. Please contact me (even if you're not changing class) with whatever class you wish to play.

Notes:
- If you cannot be bothered to read this announcement and reply to me with your desired class, you are to be held reponsible for any incenveiniences on the roster.
- Pick wisely, as this is your last chance to change your class before season 21 begins.

This saturday we're having a scrim with a 6s team of relatively equal ability.

The scrim will be this Saturday, at 7pm GMT (If the time changes, i'll notify you 24 hours in advance, if possible). I want you all to take this seriously, as season 21 starts in under 2 weeks from now!

Things to remember:
- Communication is vital, and bad communication can lose us a match. (Remember to read through Jack's announcement on communication carefully)
- Teamwork and coordination are extremely important in 6s.
- There are two main combos in 6s (Unlike in Highlander):

Combo One (The main combo): Demo, Med, Pocket, Pass. Scout.

Combo Two (The Flanking Combo): Agr. Scout, Roamer


Please tell me in advance if you're not going to be able to make it!

To get anywhere in this league we are going to have to communicate effectively, this means calling damage, enemy positions, tactics, etc.

• Please note that some of the longer named places can be shortened to make communication easier. For example, Battlements - Batts. Resupply - Resup. Maintenance - Maint. Etc.
  
• At mid it is important to specify which side - "theirs" or "ours" - you are referring to when coming a point of interest. Say "scout in our house" not "scout in house".
  
• Many times using "left", "main/center", "right", "top/upper", or "bottom/lower" conventions and their combinations are better to use since they are quickly grasped.
  
• In places like process last - where a lot of entrances are - they are named in a clockwise manor - keep that in mind.

A call should be concise and clear, only with relevant information and no gibberish. It should also be spoken in a calm way that is understood by everyone, raging or shouting often only leads to a worse team atmosphere.

An example of a good (concise and clear) call would be:

"Scout on choke took 70."

An example of a bad or less clear call would be:

"Scout took a lot, why didn't he die?!?! Please kill him!"

• Damage enemy has taken
  
• Combo position
  
• Sniper position - If they are running one
  
• Ubercharge when we have it
  
• Enemy players on flank and their position
  
• If you have died
  
• When we are pushing in
  
• And anything else you think is important

As for tactics they're isn't really much I can talk about here, since we need to see how we all play in a real match first. But when we do we will talk about them before, during, and after the game - to see what worked and what didn't.
