not its not the snes version is still the best

It's better than when it first dropped on steam since they actually cared to fix the port, but if you wanted to play it now it's good you got the DS port since it is the best port.

I was reading about steam version and I gave up to buy it.
So, I've bought the game to Nintendo DS.

Honestly, I can't really complain anymore, I downloaded a bunch of mods and put on scanlines with CRT effect. The game looks great and never has looked better.

How is it going fellow Chrono Trigger fans!?
Now that CT is available on steam AND beeing patched over by ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ means, how is your experience with that game?
It went from worse to bad, to good, to maybe overwhelming positive in the future?
Did any of you play Chrimson Echoes, Flames of Eternity or any other fanmade CT romhack?
I can only hope that FF6 gets a similar patch to get rid of the mobile UI and sh*t....

This game should've never existed if they were going to make a port this bad.
It's painful to look at "Mostly Negative" reviews on my favorite game.

A shameful cash grab, an insult to PC gaming standard, and a disgrace to the franchise.

Chrono Trigger has finally been added to Steam, although people are upset that it is a mobile port.

If they make a decent port, add achievements and tradings cards, it would sell well. It's upto Square Enix now, whether they'd wish to take this opportunity.

Someone should definitely contact them.

Maybe we can try contacting Square to port Chrono Trigger to Steam. That'd be cool, maybe we can get profile backgrounds, achievements, etc.

Only played them on SNES though.

Hello everyone! One of my favorite RPGS growing up along with Earthbound and Super Mario RPG. Good times!

As the graphics are hand drawn, the art never fades. While I love FF7, it obviously looks dated due to the fact a graphics engine was used instead of it being hand drawn.

All life begins with Nu and ends with Nu. This is the truth! This is my belief!...At least for now.

We should petition to get Chrono Trigger on steam. It couldn't be that hard and it would sell very well.

This is definitely the best RPG game ever. I played on my childhood. And I'm playing again. I just can't get enough of this game. Unfortunately there aren't many games like this one, a masterpiece.

Pity most of todays generation of gamers arent aware of this gem of a game. Or that its aviable for purchase on the pc. I'd grab it for sure if it were :)

Playing this game for the very first time of the age of 22 back in 2008, given me such a massiv throwback into my childhood gaming time and it unleashed again those feeling, the receptivity for games you only have in your childhood days.

I recommend this game for every person who is bored of the present decade of videogames and everyone else who play games!

It probably won't happen, but it'd be so awesome if Chrono Trigger was put on steam and with achievements to boot.

Why aren't there more people in this group?
If it weren't for this incredible little thang, Square and Enix would likely have Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy at each other's throats. But partly because of this wonder, the two are on the same side...
