The next operation

Mappers,

The CS:GO team is thinking about the next operation, and while there are already some nice maps in the workshop, we want to make sure you have time to submit or finish your current projects. We’re looking for maps that look great and provide solid gameplay experiences. Check out the maps from previous operations for examples.

We’ll be selecting maps on April 23rd, so make sure to have your work ready by then.

As you work toward the April 23rd deadline, make sure to get your work in progress in front of some players. Playtest often, listen to feedback, and iterate on your work. Once maps are selected, we’ll contact those mappers and will provide additional feedback and suggestions for some final edits.

They probably should look at all maps. There are some that aren't popular but could still be Operation worthy.

By the way, ICS, I played your map earlier this morning and found it very enjoyable.

I have one question, though i doubt i will get answer but are all maps submitted being considered or just "top rated of all time" ? I'm asking because workshop treats submissions differently. The most recent #1 place will get more votes than any other map submitted at the same time, within a week. After that, new maps will take those places and so forth.
