Have you ever thought that Dead Space games and Halo games can be connected some how? I mean look at the Necromorphs and the flood. Flood are just the dumbed out version of Necromorphs. I mean they are both really deadly in all ways and do infect other species. However, once you look at both the Necromorphs and the Flood you begin to realize how alike they truly are. In fact its not just the enimies in Dead Space and Halo that are connected its the whole story line of both games that are connected as well. How is this possible? You may be wondering, well look closer at bolth games and the answers will be reavieled. During the Halo 4 campaign the Forerunner alien known as the Librarian tells Master Chief/the Player about a first generation of humans. She explains that thousands of years ago, before the Halo rings had been crafted humans were alive and very powerful. She explains that the humans of the first generation were even more technologically inclined than the second generation. (Halo generation.) The Librarian eventually the tells Player that eventually the first generation discovered the Forerunner race and almost immedietly went to war with them. Even with the first generations high technology stantards they were eventually wiped out by the Forerunners in the war. However the Forerunners had been weakened by humanities fierce conflict. The Forerunner were no match for the parasite which persued the human. Yes, as the Librarian explains; the humans were being chased by the Flood (As known in the Halo games.) which is why the humans went to war with the Forerunners. The first generation was desperate to find more conlonies to try and save their race from being driven to extinction by the Flood. However, I theorize that the "Flood" during this first generation are actually Necromorphs .(If you have not played of seen this scene from the Halo 4 game I highly recommend you watch it.) Yes, Dead Space fans, Isaac Clark is a first generation human. And all the the Dead Space games take place during humanities first generation. But wern't the Necromorphs wiped out during the 3rd game? Well, no not really. What about the conloy that Isaac ecaped from in the beginning of the game? I Necromorph invasion broke out there, what is stopping the Necromorphs from spreading once Isaac left? Nothing is, so despite Isaac's best efforts the Necromorphs would kill the first generation. (Wow, he really is the unluckiest engineer ever.) Still not convinced? Well lets take a look at how similar the Flood and the Necromorphs really are. Both of these enemies in both Dead Space and Halo are able to build fleshy hives and both seem to be able to combine different infected induviduals to make giant Flood/Necromorphs. Also look at how both the Necromorphs and Flood have small parasite like creature that infect organic being, both of these things act and look similar in both games. And another thing, when a infected Combat Form (As called in Halo) has worn out its useful killing functions, they will turn into a Carrier Form and will be filled with the parasitic form of the infection, thus spreading the infection. Both Dead Space and Halo have these types of infection. However, why do the Flood/Necromorphs look so different in the second generation? (Halo generation.) Well, as we figure out in the Halo games, not all the Flood were killed during the Halo detonations. The specimines that were kept imprissoned on the Halo rings survived. I theorize that the reason the Necromorphs look so different as the Flood is simply because they "de-evolved" during their improsment. After being imprisoned for thousands of years the Necromorphs probably lost some of their physical abilities but still remained dangerous none the less. After the Halo rings detonations, the Forerunner's technology then proceeded to re-populate worlds as they had planned, and the first generation of humanity started, not quite as strong as the first. Eventually the second generation went to war with the Covenant and eventually released the Necromorphs/Flood again.So, what do you thing of this theory? Do you agree?
