Welcome to Blades of Ascension!

Blades of Ascension is an online MMORPG based around the universe of the popular anime, Sword Art Online. The game is being developed by a talented group of individuals who strive to deliver an MMO experience similar to that of the MMO that was depicted in Sword Art Online. The project will feature full VR support with the Oculus Rift and possibly more devices as the game progresses in development.

We are currently looking for all kinds of developers to volunteer there skill set to this project, everything that you work on is your property, and you retain full rights to your work. If you are a 3D Modeler, GFX Artist, VFX Artist, Writer, Composer, Coder and so on, feel free to apply for the team!~ The current team is a friendly group of people who enjoy developing fun projects, as well as interacting with there community.

Due to some serious engine limitations with Unity 4, we have decided to put Blades of Ascension on an indefinite hiatus. Currently we are going to take a break and wait for the release of Unity 5. The current version of the Unity engine was not built to handle MMO's however with the genre on the rise Unity has heavily worked on adding new MMO features into the next engine update so we will all have to stay tuned and see where the future will take us.

Thank you for all the support, this is not a goodbye but a whole new beginning!
