Well I am doing prime for sci now, and all I can say good changes. Gearshredder now is skill required weapon, you now actually need to aim with it, lol. And I see the change in PBR, cause it was dominating long range weapon. Damage output coupled with RoF, and decent clip, made this weapon a beast in sci hands, who could camp everywhere on the map, thanks to his flight. So maybe now we will see more sniper scouts?

The gear shredder being nerfed a welcome change. I don't really understand the change in the photon burst rifle though. With the buff on the neutron assault rifle, the photon burst rifle was already one of the least used guns in the scientist arsenal.

They really should've fixed the neucleon charge rifle instead.
