Discuss, and +1 the movement to Ban Derek Smart from Steam.

Derek Smart is a controversial (to say the least) game developer, dating back to 1989 - present day.

He's many things a Developer should not be; which would clutter the summary if I ranted. So let us let the community share.

Our petition explains some of the abusive action he's been committing. It can be found right below.

Just wanna say that I want to apologise on the behalf of Derek Smart, because lord knows he's incapable of right from wrong.

I'm also sorry I wasn't here to catch it and take care of it soon enough. This was a group not intended for his activity. If he intends on making his case, he better have those lawyers he's talking about. Already talked to local media about him. He's a couple cities away, and my local station has already heard about him, and is interested in possibly doing my(our) story.

There's too much evidence of him being verbally abusive, and overstepping his bounds. Petitioning the removal of a power hungry man who roams with near impunity is never the end point. Can I get a "USA!! USA!!" haha. No seriously, this guy is all hot air, and he's survived this long off of that. Time to put a hole in that balloon.

Somehow the petition was taking off of Change.org because someone reported it as Harassment. I'm not entirely sure how it could have been harassment, when it was clearly stated exactly what was going on. I have two people in mind of who it could be. One of them googles his name every day to start issues. I'm in contact with the Change.org people, and am attempting to sort it out.

Meanwhile the more members the better... it almost looks like we almost have more members than their peak players at any one time.

Hi!
I joined this, because it can't be that D. Smart treats his customers and the Steam Community like this and NOTHING happens!
The german magazin Gamestar showed that he has still a lot to do to make his "game" better, but instead of doing that he says they are trolls an give them a bann!
He seems to be more interested investing his time to troll against the developers of Star Citizen, instead working on his "games". That does not look like to me that he is very interested in developing games.
So where is the point that Steam let him sell his "games" here anyways?
