L4D2 Weapons

Weapons
Chainsaw - Don't use it within 15ft of other teammates
Grenade Launcher - Don't use it unless losing isn't an issue. Useless against Tanks.
Heavy Machine Gun - Fires explosive ammo. Use short bursts to prevent overheating.
- Tanks will home in on you if you're on the gun. Tanks know enough to not go into your firing arc.
AK47 - Most powerful distance weapon in the game. (M16 is 2nd best)
SPAZ - Most powerful shotgun in the game due to it's tight spread shot.
Katana (Sword) - 180-degree arc, farthest reaching melee weapon
Fire Ax - 2nd place behind Katana
Club - Fastest melee weapon, shortest reach
ALL MELEE WEAPONS DO THE SAME DAMAGE

L4D2 Infected Basics - 2

JOCKEY
- The only 'pinning' infected class that cannot kill a human, will only incap them.
- Works great with smokers, separating 2 humans, causing the other 2 to either split up, or take twice as long to free their friends.
- The longer the Jockey rides someone, the louder he gets.
- Steering people off of edges, into fire/acid, or just into dark rooms far away is an excellent tactic to take people down

BOOMER
- Dropping in on people from high areas is a great way to splash them.
- Vomiting from a high elevation (2-3 floors) isn't as effective as you'd think.
- You are loud, fat, and slow. You are NOT an assault class. Don't show yourself until the survivors are within vomit distance.
- Catching yourself on fire and walking up to survivors is a nice way to splash them.
- When you blow up, nearby survivors stumble back a bit. Great to do on bridges.
- Pipe Bombs/Bile make you useless. Try booming on people who don't have bombs.
- Vomiting on people who are incap'ed is a great way to finish them off.

SPITTER
- It takes a few seconds for the acid to cover the full area and do full damage.
- Acid does the most damage in the 2sec before it disappears.
- Acid will blow gas tanks (orange glowing only, not white) if they're in acid for a few seconds.
- Spitting near the Car/Generator will stop survivors from pouring for a while.
- Spit will travel 100ft in the air, then drop straight down.
- Spit will travel through the air until it hits something, then come straight down. So spitting UP onto ceilings and walls will cover a room, keeping you safe.
- You always have green drool coming out of your mouth, making you an easy target for snipers and rifles at medium range. Stay out of sight til you're ready to spit.
- For 3sec after you spit, you move at 1/2 speed.
- Acid combined with someone pined by a hunter/charger is a great way to kill em faster
