Axe Phalanx's FI2 Battle Music Playlist has arrived!

So we teased this idea months ago, but it's finally here! We now have a channel on cytube to host our battle music. Newer players may not remember, but older versions of FI2 had incorporated music (real music, not that single looping native track that plays quietly in the background now) which was removed from version 121 in order to reduce load times and make the mod more accessible to lower end computers.


Many of you may have your own fi2 playlists already set up, color coded and organized by faction/invader, but now those of us who don't can simply open up the playlist and listen to a random assortment of battle music nominated by our fellow warriors! If you aren't into the randomness of the shuffle system, feel free to pop in, grab some links to songs that catch your fancy, and organize your own playlist in meticulous order.


We're still ironing out the kinks as to how to have music incorporated, but there is a modest selection on the list now, including some songs from the old fi2 soundtrack that veterans will remember fondly (or vote to skip immediately). We're fiddling with ideas, including but not limited to a vote system to keep/replace songs, which we'll announce as well.


For now, if you have a song that you can envision yourself ventilating skulls and laying down flesh carpet to, and would love to share, simply steam message Treestump or ReleasetheHounds a youtube link containing the song, or post the link in the comments below. We're not looking for 47 minute long full soundtracks, or videos longer than 10 minutes. Other than that, don't be shy and share some sick tracks with your warband!
