I was a ordinary little derp up untill 2 years ago. I didnt know MLP existed. I was looking up pictures of my favorite game character (Isaac Clarke) To make a photoshop image. I just typed in Isaac Clarke into google images, scroll down like a page and a half and am met with this.

Might seem trivial but i dare you to look up any VG character on google and ponified images will be there. If there are no images than you are simply lucky it hasnt spread that far.
