Story:
Phantoms: supernatural entities such as ghosts or youkai that, until recently, were thought to be superstition. However, when a virus that infects the brain spreads throughout society, people's perception of the world changes as the mythical beings are revealed to have been living alongside humanity the entire time. This virus has also affected those of the next generation by allowing them to develop special abilities that they can use to fight against dangerous phantoms.

Haruhiko Ichijou and Mai Kawakami are two of those that were granted such power as Haruhiko has the ability to summon and seal phantoms through drawings while Mai imbues the power of the elements into martial arts. Together, along with the friendly phantom Ruru, they form Team E of Hosea Academy which is dedicated to dealing with these often mischievous beings.

Personal Thoughts:
Real talk I got into this anime because I love the soundtrack for it. Like I don't know too many animes that use an EDM soundtrack most animes have J-pop and the soundtrack for this is like some odd crossover between the two and I love it. Not to mention the anime is cute as shit and I pretty much enjoyed all of it except for maybe like 1 episode. Like yeah it has fanservice but no more than any other anime you'd run into. The powers and effects are actually really decent in terms of special effects use and execution. I think this anime graphically when it comes to fight scenes is like my 4th favorite after Tiger and Bunny, Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill.

Favorite Character: Minase Koito
While her character only has mild spice quite frankly she's cute as fuck. She has the whole "stubborn cool girl" appeal with like that cute sort of tsun thing going on. Her power is one of if not my favorite within this series if not for its uses that for how its graphically represented. But despite that sterotypical anime "cool girl" charm she actually does really well as a comic relief character from time to time.
