This is it. The next tournament of AvP will be 1v1 between the same species. This is the way to proove everyone you are the best individual in this game.

Basic rules:

for marines - Pulse Rifle and Pistol only, NO GRENADES;
for aliens - No wall tailing; No e grabbing of any sort; No glitching;
for predators - No use of any glitches; Only spear and blades are allowed; No e grabbing;

Common rules:

Two maps chosen by the players;
Most frags on both maps wins the game;
No Time Limit/30 frags per round.

There are going to be 3 separate tournaments, each for their species. After we know the strongest species (Double Elimination) we will have one last fight - Deathmatch. It will involve 3 players, the winners of the tournaments, to claim the best honorable player of them all!

The tournament starts right after current summer tournament (~2012 Autumn).
