A distinction is made between a "hard broom" and a "soft broom". Soft brooms are for sweeping walls of cobwebs and spiders. Hard brooms are for sweeping dirt off sidewalks.

We are the Last of the Broomsmen, the last of the pure in this Broom-forsaken world. We are gathered here to carry out The Broom's will. We shall shed the tears and blood of the lost sweeper, and sentence the unbroomy to eternal damnation!
