ArmA III Realism Unit

Note: We are NOT the real 31st MEU nor will we ever claim to be.

The 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit realism group was founded in late 2015 with the goal of providing a fun, realistic, ArmA III military simulation experience utilizing real-world tactics, SOPs, communications, and organization. Many of our members are current active and/or veteran military from all branches of the armed services. An emphasis is placed on realistic training objectives and operations. To accomplish our objective of providing an immersive and professional environment, we hold ranks and members are expected to role-play their specific positions when in-game.

With that said, we are not a "hardcore" realism unit. Do not expect to be yelled at in Boot Camp, or have to salute or address officers as "Sir". Our ultimate goal is to find that perfect balance between realism and fun, with fun being the priority. We try to use the latest and most realistic mods. We pride ourselves on being transparent with our members, with all having the ability to have a say in the direction and decisions of the unit.

Additionally, we realize that our members have real life responsibilities and may not be able to attend every event. We have a Reserves option for these individuals who may attend unit events when they are able to.
