Brief Background Information

We are 3rd Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment. We are organised and operate as a Combined Arms Battalion which consists of a Mechanised Infantry Company and Armored Company. We operate in all spectrums of warfare from COIN, Humanitarian assistance and Conventional warfighting utilizing our special blend of game mechanics, RP and storytelling.

Our members are our focus, with leadership striving to promote a camaraderie and esprit de corps, as well as understanding that real life takes a priority in every way. The 11th isn’t just some Arma Unit it is a community that is growing and wishes for you to come grow with us.

What We Offer
InGame:
K troop offers an exciting, organized, and realistic experience in-game. You are not required to address persons of higher rank with their rank or with Sir. Although once in-game it is mandatory for you to have a more serious attitude to not detract from immersion. We also provide the ability to rise through the ranks and have a chance at leadership roles if that’s what you’re into.

Out of Game:
K troop offers an exciting, organized, and immersive experience in-game. We place a maxim on players taking something from the mission and as such we craft an interactive story driven by our Zeus operators and by our members.

As in real world the 11th ACR operate as OPFOR and we would look forward to providing a dedicated OPFOR experience to units seeking a challenge, we also would operate as Blufor in a cooperative Joint operations environment for those looking for assistance in completing events.

While we strive for MILSIM we understand this is not the real military and as such you will NEVER be expected to salute, address by rank or shout Yes Sir! No Sir!. All that is expected is positive involvement in operations and understanding how the chain of command works.

Requirements to Join:

Minimum age is 17 years however exceptions may be made on a case by case basis.
• Must be available for operations every Saturday at 4pm EST
• You must NOT be a member of any other Arma 3 Unit.
• Of course you must own a legitimate copy of Arma 3
• You have to be able to download Teamspeak 3 and Arma3sync (for mod pack)
