So, as we fall into 2013, what can we expect within the Hussars and within the gaming world as a whole?

Well, at least one of us will become a father for a start.

One the gaming front, few of us are still enjoying Battlefield 3 and indeed have Battlefield 4 to look forward to at the end of the year. Company of Heroes 2 is due out in the spring and we are currently enjoying Borderlands 2 and the impressive Planetside 2.

Whatever your flavour of gaming fun, have a great year.

Yes, at the beginning of last month the clan struggled to raise the necessary wind (hard to believe, I know) to blow out all 8 candles on our non-existent but incredibbly moist birthday cake, given to us so kindly by the Aperture Science Foundation.

So, how did we celebrate our 8th birthday? With a traditional blast on Battlefield 1942, the game that started it all.
Sadly, many folks think it is time the grizzled veteran game was laid to rest, but we are still waiting for the next contender for the Battlefield crown to appear for this to happen.
maybe next year we will use Battlefield 2 instead, but even that is showing its age.

Yes indeedy, we are soon approaching our 7th anniversary as a clan, so in honour of this we will be spending a couple of hours on Friday 6th November playing BF1942.

The Anniversary itself is on the 4th, next Wednesday.

Well as probably most of you know by now that Mugsworth passed away at the start of Jan :( much to the sadness of many people who knew him, He'll be missed especially from the HCC racing scene :(
