II. GROUND

In General:
The AO is undulating, terrain with high hills and deep valleys. Vegetation consists of low trees and bushes. Buildings are of local rural construction surrounded by 2m high walls. Roads are unmaintained dirt type

III. SITUATION

RED FORCES
Strength: Enemy is assessed to be an understrength, infantry platoon.
Morale: High
Uniforms/Dress: Not Uniformed. Mixture of civilian and military clothing
Small arms: Up to 14.5mm have been identified. Mainly of Russian manufacture
Hvy Weapons: RPG-7, or variants. IDF weapons unlikely
Vehicles: Highly likely, low numbers of wheeled transport and technical’s
Aircraft: Highly unlikely

Air Threat: Currently assessed as SA, HMG RPG’s and MANPADs

IED/Mine Threat: Low, Likely

GREEN FORCES:
GreenFor are not assessed to remain within the AO.

WHITE FORCES:
Civilians remain in the area and are considered unfriendly.

BLUE FORCES:
None within our AO.

IV. MISSION
To conduct a dominance patrol through the AO. Search and clear Objective ALPHA.

V. EXECUTION

We will move, in conjunction with A/1, in a series of mutually supporting bounds. Initial OOM, 2/1, 23E followed by 2/2. Waypoints TBC.
