Private Testing has finally started! As promised in the Behind the Scenes November, we have a week (possibly more) to test the server and find bugs! The Private Testing is for administrators and moderators only, and this is so that we can test the game in a smaller group without having to deal with other issues.

Along with the Private Test, I promised that I would post a forum thread where I will be updating you with pictures! You can find that thread by clicking on this link. The latest images will be added at the top of the post, and I will be updating it as regularly as I can!

The days grow shorter, the nights grow longer and it’s time for spooks and fiends to roam the globe. Yes, it’s Halloween and, with that in mind, we have a rather special gallery for you this month: it’s everything ghastly and ghoulish! We've been through all of your sinister Halloween-themed entries and selected the very best that the community had to offer.

The entries featured are all spinetinglingly awesome, but two of them really stood out for us. Congratulations to Erik Brorsson and Bithon - both of these artists have created brilliant drawings for 2006Scape and I'm sure you'll all agree!

Just yesterday, Mod Russian finished fixing all existing bugs on Tutorial Island, and we're proud to say that it's complete! We've recorded a video for you to see how your first steps will look like in Alpha! Make sure to like and favourite the videos, as well as subscribe to our channel!

Faster than expected, November is already here, bringing cold Winter. Luckily, we've got some great updates planned for 2006Scape! If you're looking for any sneak peaks into when Alpha might come out, you won't find any here. As promised, Alpha will only be announced when I'm certain it's ready.

Pest Control
Pest Control is one of our main priorities right now. Mod Boomer has been working on the minigame for the past few weeks, and it has proven to be one of the most complex minigames 2006Scape will have.

Pest Control is a minigame you can expect to find on Alpha launch, and most of you will probably remember that Pest Control was one of the best places to get combat experience, and you will once again get to relive that!

Mod Boomer has finished all of the fundamental systems that Pest Control needs, so it shouldn't be too long from now until Pest Control is finished!

Tutorial Island
The first steps you'll take in Alpha will be on Tutorial Island. Tutorial Island was removed from RuneScape in July 2008, so it will be over 4 years that you'll have been on the island. Mod Russian has been working on Tutorial Island for the past few weeks, and we can now say that it's just a few bugs away from being finished! I've spent over 6 hours running through Tutorial Island over and over again to spot any bugs or problems, and I'm now confident that it's almost bug-free.

You can expect a video to be uploaded to our Youtube channel once Tutorial Island is finished!

As promised, we introduce the fourth batch of sounds that need to be identified! In our previous announcement, you helped us identify sounds 201 - 300. We now need your help to identify sounds 301 - 400!

The vast majority of the sounds haven't been identified yet, which makes it nearly impossible for me to continue adding sounds. That's where you come in! We need your help to identify the sounds you remember!

Every week, I will be uploading 100 new sounds for you to identify (there will be seperate announcements for each).

To help identify this batch of sounds, follow the steps below:

Sign up on SoundCloud by clicking here.
Once you've signed up, click the first link in the list below titled "Sound 301". This will bring you to the first sound (with ID 301).
Press the play button, and try to identify the sound. If you know for certain what the sound is, copy & paste the following form into the comment section and fill it out. If you don't know what the sound is, try discussing with others what the sound might be in the comments!
What is the sound of? Where/When was the sound played (be specific)?

Repeat this process for all sounds 301-400.
Please be specific! If you remember exactly where/when the sound was played, that's great! If you somewhat know where it was played, that's fine too.
