Later Alligator is a cute and wholesome game featuring Pat who has tasked you figuring out some information about a big event set to take place today to either confirm or dispel his fears that his family is trying to rub him out.

This game is extremely charming and is 100% worth a play. Although this game is overall pretty short and has a few aspects of replayability until you've gotten all their is, collectibles and all, it still manages to be worth a full price purchase and a steal at discounts.
For a casual playthrough this will be laughs and fun all around and for those that are dedicated enough, please read other reviews and other associated information relating to potential problems.
What this game does really well is keep you entertained as you play through the 30 minigames offered. Every NPC is worth talking to and every family member especially has really well written dialogue and plenty of character. There's hardly anything not to love about this game on the surface.
What's not so great is that achievement hunting in this game can be a real pain in the neck. I wouldn't say it's particular difficult but rather there are just a few points in the game where it is far too easy to either miss something or just get stuck, with one notable instance worth mentioning that you can even find yourself softlocked.
I wish this game had some more QOL features when it comes to replaying this game because, yes, if you're looking for all the achievements you WILL find yourself replaying this game multiple times and being unable to replay completed minigames or fast forward to more particular parts in the story can kind of make the achievement hunt drag quite a bit. I would also have wished for an ability to skip the credits if they've been seen already or even skip the ending entirely since once you're in the final event sequence for the game, you not only have to play through one final minigame (Hope your memory is good!), but you will also have to see the ending all over again and thus the credits.

Overall, I had a blast playing this and the achievements are just the cherry on top for this great game.
