When I died during the run I later respawn on the ceiling. Anyone know how to fix this?

This game is a very, very tough recommend for me. I've completed all of it's meaningful content, but that doesn't necessarily mean that I enjoyed it overall. The difficult thing about reviewing a horror piece is that if you say "I hated every second of it," then another could argue that it's the intended experience. Originally i considered it to be centered around a grieving parent who's self image is distorted beyond recognition and further burdened by an abusive lover and a possible pregnancy. However, the deeper i got, the more the story branched in different directions introducing character and scenarios that didn't seem to line up with the almost symbolic feel of the first few levels? Any ideas? Maybe this is the result of the shift in writing? Am I wrong and you're going to devout a small section of your time...

Is there any mod or patch to play this game in 4:3 ratio ? I really want to play it on my CRT monitor but the game runs only in 16:9 ratio, not that big issue for me but the text in notes is too small to read and its pretty frustrating for me.
