They really shouldn't be selling this absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ port of a game, the actual game is fine but the port is so broken, doesn't support anything higher than 1920x1080 resolution and the audio quality is like listening to someone fart into a tin can.

Play it on console if you have one.

Crashes every hour and is horribly optimized

Hate to leave a negative review, but I just could not get this to run steady. Probably spent 3 hours over the past two weeks trying to get it to act right and it won't. Which is a shame because I have heard a lot of good things about this one. At this point I am cutting my losses and moving on. I can't recommend it for modern hardware.

Love this game back when it was released in 2009, love it now except one problem is when im playing it, the game stops working and i lose progress, other than that, its worth the money to buy it.

Perhaps one of the greatest open world crime games created of all time, and no less, a game that still stands up to modern day releases today, despite being a game to have released as old as the year 2008.

Taking place in the fictional city location of Stilwater, the main story picks up where the original had left off: after surviving a boat explosion, your main character, "the boss," re-awakens to find that they had been put into a coma due to the aforementioned event that nearly cost them their own life. Now, with a blood soaked vengeance, the boss puts it upon themselves to re-take control of Stilwater, and bring about a second-coming of their slowly evolving street gang empire.

In regards to the city location itself, the game features what could honestly be deemed as perhaps one of the most diverse world maps of all time, rivaling that of Rockstar Games in terms of how much detail has actually been put into it. There are tons of areas to explore, such as underground caverns, accessible malls with a highly detailed interior, a countryside, suburbs, metropolitan, et cetera, and that's only vaguely scratching the surface. There really is a ton to see and admire, and for me to pin point every small, minor thing would truly cloud up this review. (You really just have to take it upon yourself to explore and admire all there is for you to come across to really understand the depth of the open world map).

The Music selection of the game features many popular 90s and early 2000s songs, that really just set the entire vibe for the game, and really increase the overall enjoyment to be had tenfold.

There are also tons of side activities to do outside of just playing through the main story, such as fight clubs, a mode where you literally just spray sewage on buildings and people, a mode where you get to play as a cop and stop a variety of different bad events, among many other kinds of side activities all varying in playstyle and pace.

This is a fantastic game that is only hindered by the less than stellar PC port it was given by CD Project. Tools do exist to make the experience manageable to varying degrees, but a proper pc port would have boosted this game up to a status that could really be deemed as immaculately impressive.

Despite the issues, this is still one of my most favorite video games to date, and is my #1 favorite open world game of all time, second being the all-too praised Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

If you are willing to put in a little work towards making this game work, the experience that'll be waiting for you on the other side will be nothing except worth the hassle.

Highly recommended for those looking for a masterpiece open world experience.

one of my childhood games its great as i remember it.But the PC port is hell game crashed a couple of times but if u want to avoid that just let game be on deffault settings.
