Musikken i spillet er den jukeboks, som du bærer rundt på i begyndelsen af kampen. Du sætter temaet for hele kampen ved at vælge din egen musik. Medmindre du bliver spist af zombier, selvfølgelig.


Pandemic Express er et spil, hvor du skal flygte fra zombier. Du spiller som et menneske, men spillet er ikke slut, når du dør. Du vender tilbage som en zombie for at jage de andre mennesker.

Dit mål som menneske er at indsamle bytte og derefter hoppe på et tog og køre ud af zombiernes hule til sikkerhed, imens zombierne angriber dig fra alle sider og trækker mennesker væk fra toget – et ad gangen.

Du kan ikke overleve alene, så det er bedst at blive sammen i små grupper. I et ideelt scenarie hopper du og dine venner ind i en varevogn og kører til et sted, hvor man kan hente våben, for at få de bedste pistoler. Når du så er klar til kamp, skal du hoppe på toget og forsvare det.

Pistoler har to formål: forsvar og hjælpeværktøj/parkour. Du kan hoppe via enhver overflade ved hjælp af dine pistoler. Du skal bare gå op til en væg og affyre et skud fra den rette vinkel, og derved kan du springe op ad væggen hele vejen op til taget. Der er også dobbelthop og hoppepuder. Kombineret giver alt dette en erfaren spiller evnen til at krydse banen som en ninja, der hopper fra tag til trætop og derfra videre til endnu et tag.

Når du dør, kan du vælge en af tre zombieklasser. Hver har en unik stil: én stil gør det muligt at sluge mennesker og spytte dem ud og væk fra toget, og en anden stil gør dig i stand til at efterligne mennesker, så du kan blende ind i mængden for at give det ødelæggende slag.


Det asymmetriske PvP er sjovt for spillere på alle niveauer. Hvis du endnu ikke er god til at kæmpe mod zombier alene, kan du have det sjovt med at jagte veteranoverlevende som en zombie og blive belønnet for det.

Bevægelse er en af de vigtigste evner i Pandemic Express. Det kan være altafgørende i en kamp at bruge bunnyhop og parkour ved hjælp af din pistol på en effektiv måde.

Pandemic Express, the survival shooter where hordes of player controlled zombies hunt down survivors, is going free to play this Thursday!

We are doing it in the simplest way possible: you can unlock in-game items such as Emotes, Jukebox Music, and Skins by playing the game, or simply buying stars to get them faster. No effect on gameplay whatsoever. Except everyone will know your taste in music.

Everyone who bought the game up until Thursday will get a special set of items for being on our zombie train early.

All owners of the game will get an email from us notifying of the transition.

Long time no see! This is the last update for Pandemic Express this year, but not the last one ever.

Today we're introducing achievements, new emotes and music to the game, and we'll kick off the next year with some more exciting changes, so stay tuned!
