With Season 3, a well-requested feature has been added: cross-squad invites!

We’ve seen your feedback about the lack of crossplay in Hood, and while it took some time for us to implement it into the game, it is finally here and we’re so excited about it. Squad invitations now support all platforms, meaning you’ll soon be able to form your squad with any friends and execute the perfect heist together, from PS5, PS4, XSX, X1 and PC!

Complete heists to progress through the Battle Pass and collect over 100 new outfits, weapon skins, and banner packs to customize your game to your liking!

New cosmetics for all characters, with a total of 31 Outfits, 51 Weapons and 21 banner packs (103 cosmetics). 🏹

• Razor Gauntlets perk
  o Reduced the damage that Robin does when the Razor Gauntlets are equipped.

  o Reduced the time it takes for characters who have been flashed to begin regenerating their stamina
  
• Stamina Change
  o Increased the stamina Robin uses when performing light attacks. To bring him in line with the stamina updates of the previous characters in the season 2 stamina update.
  
• Forceful Fighter perk
  o Fixed the stamina values in line with the changes to Robin’s Season 2 stamina changes. Attacks cost less stamina so Robin can attack more before running out of stamina with this perk equipped

• Evade Action
  o Slightly increased invulnerability window to Eidaa’s evades animations
  
• Warden perk
  o Increased the damage that the warden perk does when an enemy walks through it.
  
• Aggressive Aegis perk
  o Increased the replenish rate of the ability metre when Eidaa inflicts damage upon enemies with the ability active.
  Tooke
  
• Roaming Monk perk
  o Increased the Roaming monk’s effective radius
  
• Sustained Growth perk
  o Fixed the stamina values in line with the changes to Tooke’s Season 2 stamina changes. Attacks cost the correct amount of stamina to compensate for the damage increase with this perk equipped
  Marianne
  
• Silent Slaughter perk
  o Silent slaughter active time bonus is now only applied when assassinating guards
  
• Survivalist perk
  o Fixed the stamina values in line with the changes to Marianne’s Season 2 stamina changes. Marianne can get an extra evade with this perk equipped

  o Increased the amount of gold the player can carry before becoming burdened from 150gc to 200gc

We're excited to release Season 2: Yule of Hood: Outlaws & Legends! This new season brings a battle pass bursting with cosmetics, and an exciting new game mode: Gold Rush.

To win in this PvPvE game mode, your team must bring a certain amount of gold to one of your controlled spawn points before your opponents. You are able to pocket gold by collecting small stashes scattered throughout the level, assassinating guards, and killing enemy Outlaws carrying gold.

But be careful - carrying too much gold will weigh you down, making you run slower, so make sure to secure it regularly. Pocketed gold and Treasure Chests have to be banked on capture points to progress on the overall objective. The goal is to bank 2000 gold before the enemy team.

Three Vault Keys are carried by Sentries dispatched around the level, and each Key opens a Vault in which there is a Treasure Chest. With several treasures to steal, hidden gold stashes, and stealing from rival Outlaws, this mode blows open the doors of possibility, viable strategies, and surprise epic moments.

The newest outlaw, Eidaa, has come to battle against the State. She is a talented skirmisher who brings both sword and sorcery to the battlefield.

As a hybrid character, Eidaa is capable of both dodging and parrying her way to victory. While she can effectively keep up the pressure in fights, she has lower health than the other melee characters, so careful stamina management will be the key to success!

Her abilities include replenishing vital gearboxes to keep her and her allies in top shape and throwing a tar bomb that slows and damages enemies. Her ultimate is a magical shield that can block enemy projectiles, perfect for locking down key sightlines and protecting essential objectives.
Like the other characters, she comes with several cosmetics and perks to customize her look and feel while out on heists!


Season 1 also introduces a rework of the Winch System. Each team will now have their own independent progress on the winch to achieve victory. Completing the early-game objectives, like pickpocketing the Sheriff, opening the vault, and placing the chest, will each grant you a completed notch when the chest is placed, giving you a significant head start. This rewards teams who work quickly and quietly for the final phase of the heist.


The vault is open to everyone, so trickle in Outlaws. Play for FREE on steam until September 5!


Watch out for free skins! Steam users will be able to grab 5 free skins from the "Fang & Claw" set by watching Hood: Outlaws & legends on Twitch. This event takes place from Thursday September 2 (11 AM CEST) to Monday September 6 (11 AM CEST) Here is how it works:

Three new maps are brought to State Heist, the new co-op mode, in Season 1. You will now be able to attack a fortified snow-tipped keep in Mountain, battle across the cliffy shores of Coastal, and assault the swampy wetlands of Marshland.


Alongside Season 1 is Hood: Outlaws and Legends' first Battle Pass. Unlock a wide variety of unique outlaw appearances, weapons, and banners to defeat your foes with both style and skill.

The Hood journey is just getting started! Since release, We have been actively working on the game's improvement by listening carefully to your feedback to offer the best heist experience possible, and we will continue to do so. Keep the feedback coming!

• Embody Eidaa the Sellsword, the 5th Outlaw of Hood.

Winching phase during PvP games has a new design which aims to make the outcome of a match fairer than it used to be:

• Each team has its own winch progression bar.
  
• Win notches by completing the objectives such as stealing the key, opening the vault, and putting the chest in the winch.

Select the crossplay console option to play only between console players for faster matchmaking.

• Mouse sensitivity and gamepad axis sensitivity are adjustable.
  
• New aim sensitivity multiplier settable option for gamepad and mouse.

• Fixed an issue where the interaction prompt disappears unless the character moves, after quitting some menus.
  
• Fixed the home spawn icon which is missing on almost all maps.
  
• When Marianne has the key and uses a smoke bomb, opposing players can still see the key through the smoke.
  
• Fixed a situation when Marianne uses her ability while holding the key, which still gives away her position.
  
• Fixed a bug where the kill feed is not working properly when two players with the same name are in the same game.

• Fixed an issue where Robin & Marianne's melee strike may not chain properly should the user spam the attack button.
  
• Fixed an issue where Tooke's "Roaming Monk" applies to teammates when being a ghost and following them.

General stability improvements.

Fixed an issue where the defensive early exits may not be working as intended.

Fixed an issue where there is blood VFX displayed when Marianne uses her sprint attack in the Hideout shops.

Players can now correctly hear other players’ footsteps behind them.

An invisible collision preventing proper movement in Docks on Graveyard has been removed.

Fixed a few localization issues.

Brought to Sherwood with a wind of revenge, Eidaa wields her sword just as well as her mystical powers. With the ability to both dodge, parry, and protect her teammates with her magical ultimate ability, Eidaa is not only a capable fighter but also a flexible support character.

To kick off the season, Hood will welcome its first new Outlaw, Eidaa, free for all players. An amazing toe to toe fighter, Eidaa’s abilities, unique moveset, and customizable perks make her a fearsome opponent anywhere on the battlefield. You can learn more about Eidaa in our latest Dev Vlog!

Another key update that we are happy to introduce is a game-changing rework to the winch system, improving and upping the intensity of each match’s critical final phase. This new system will allow both teams to winch for the treasure chest, leading to a fairer, more balanced experience in which every step of the heist counts!


The first battle pass also arrives with Season 1, bringing a huge variety of cosmetics to unlock! The Battle Pass represents a new, separate progression system in which players earn experience to unlock exclusive cosmetics for all outlaws, including Eidaa. All players can progress in the Battle Pass, which includes free items at certain tiers.

You can now play in the fully PvE State Heist mode, in which your team can test her skill against a much more aggressive State, with unique death and respawn mechanics.This joins a new map, new cosmetics and new gameplay updates thanks to feedback from Hood’s passionate community.
