the controllers don't work at all, I can't even start the game

Why make a VR-only game these days? I think VR is silly and expensive and will never get one, so this great and funny-looking game is now something I can't play. How hard would it be to just implement controller or possibly keyboard+mouse controls?

Im trying to play with my index controllers and everytime i press the trigger or try and grab something it fades to white and goes back to the menu even tho i have the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ binding selected! Anyone know a fix for this?
